Great Straightener
I have almost perfectly straight hair, except for these small curved pieces by my ear. The chi heats up quickly and straightens out those suckers it no time at all without damaging my hair. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Woah, kind of pricey.
But this straightener performs better than any other straightener. It lasts a long time, won't damage your hair as much because of the ceramic, and boy does it straighten your hair. It gets extremely hot, so it can tackle all types of hair. It's not heavy so it's very comfortable when styling--but beware! It gets very, very hot. (356 freaking degrees Fahrenheit! Be careful!) — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

My first flat iron!
As a former hairstylist back in the day... this was the first flat iron I ever owned to use on my clients. I remember it was a really expensive tool at that time and I had to have it. This little baby did it all for me and made my work SO much easier and look so polished. It got industrial-strength use at the salon and worked for me for several years. I cherished it and took good care of it! I imagine the gal who inherited it is still using it because it was awesome. It worked well for straightening and curling with no snags or damage that I knew of! — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

The Greatest Iron EVERRRR
One of my friend recommended this flat iron to me and I haven't regretted buying it yet. It keeps your hair straight and looking silky all day. You never have to worry about you hair going wavy any time of the day. The chi flat iron have been a good and fast way to get your hair done. You never have to think about going to the salon to get your hair done because the chi does it for you. Plus, if you use it the right way, you can get flawless curls within minutes!!!!! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Love this straightener. I have those annoying baby hairs on top of my head and it even worked on those, well worth the price — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Very Disappointed
I have extremely curly hair that is fairly long so I seldom want to straighten it but when I do I expect my expensive Chi to work. It died half way thru straightening my hair! I had only used the product 4 and a half times. Was hightly disappinted in this product and will never buy another Chi! — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Lasted Almost 3 Years!
I bought this particular iron in December 2006 and up until last week, it was a reliable friend. The ceramic plates heated quickly and evenly every time. The adjustable temperature gauge was a nice feature, and the red felt protectors saved my clumsy hands more than once! But now.. the romance is over. It hardly heats up at all. Very sad! The ONLY reason I won't buy this product again is that it's a bit heavy, compared to what's out on the market now. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
