Best moisturizer ever for dry, sensitive skin
Updated 2 years later: No joke I had a guy tell me he thought I was 18. I'm 31. This stuff is amazing. I discovered this stuff in college. My roommate suffered from very dry skin and she used this. At first I was a little scared to use it because I have very acne prone skin and it does have mineral oil in it. Here is what I love about it. 1.) The price. I used to use the yellow Clinique mo...read moreisturizer. However I switched to this. It is a fraction of the cost of any moisturizer out there and comes in a huge package. It usually lasts at least a year for me. 2.) Great texture and absorbs quickly. I didn't start using this for the anti-aging component. During the winter, my cheeks and forehead get extremely dry. I noticed my cheeks starting to peel. I tried a lot of other brands aimed at my age group (products designed to fight acne or block the sun), but none were thick enough. I remembered my roommate using the stuff. So despite it saying it was to help combat wrinkles, I used it. It is very thick and rich and does the job better than anything else out there. 3.) Anti-aging? I'm just starting to get to the age where other women my age are seeing wrinkles. I turn 30 this year. Great product and a great value
You know, this tub of moisturizer is only $6 and works great. It absorbs quickly, does not have a strong smell, leaves my face feeling soft but not oily and works well with my mineral foundation. I have very oily skin that breaks out very easily and I love this stuff! It soaks in very quickly and is not greasy at all. It leaves my skin very smooth and soft. A staple for me
I have used this for years and I love the consistency. f you like a thin moisturizer that glides on easily like I do then this is for you. It has a great smell and it will last you for months. I use it mainly on my face but occasionally body. You can't beat the price for the amount you get. Not for Oiliness
I really want to like this product because it's a giant jar and smells good, but... I think it's too greasy for my skin type. That said, I can see why people enjoy it. Pure HEAVEN!!
This moisturizer is a GREAT PRODUCT, and a must have. I've always been told to use a good anti aging creme to keep from developing wrinkles and fine lines. Well the fine lines are gone and my skin has never looked better. This stuff is AMAZING!!!!
All of the St. Ive products seem to go well with my skin. I had been using their Apricot Scrub on my face since I was 13 and one of my mom's friends brought it over because she was allergic to it, and I tried it and fell in love. Anyway, I was at Walmart and saw this for about $4.50 and I liked at it and thought why not, and plus the smell is amazing, so light and fresh. I have been using glit for weeks now, and the huge container lasts and lasts. A little goes a long way. My skin is so soft, clear, and everyone compliments me on my baby soft skin. I don't really have any wrinkles, just a few fine lines under my eyes, but even they are gone! I HIGHLY recommend this product. I was looking for a new moisturizer with a little something to prevent wrinkles. I am 23 with acne prone, oily/combination, and sensitive. The worse combo you can get. I purchased this product after reading a lot of good reviews and it's cheap! I love the scent. It is very light and soothing. Great value, great scent!
I love St. Ives products and I bought this because it was so much cream for so little money. This jar lasted me probably close to 6 months. And because there was no sunblock in it, I used it for morning and night. It goes on so smooth and left my skin feeling really soft. And like every St. Ive product I've tried -- it smells great. I will say that I did experience some acne while I was using...read more it, but I wouldn't attribute that to this moisturizer. I've upped my water intake, switched my face wash, and started exfoliating weekly or twice-weekly. My acne has all but disappeared.
