this cleanser is very moisturizing, I did a test with this cleanser and just plain soap, in it I used the cleanser on one side and the soap on another the soap side took off a lot of my make up, however when I wiped off the cleanser side my sponge was a lot dirtier, it took off a LOT more make up then just plain soap, also my face felt fresher and didn't dry out at all, in the morning when my face is usually itchy and dry the side that I used this on was not itchy at all.
