Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray Reviews

very nice!
Great price and great product! I like the actuator shape which is easy to press, unlike the smaller heads that others have. The hold is strong, and it gives me a shiny finish, but the aerosol particle size could be finer. The fragrance is excellent, which is very important for me. I absolutely will not buy unpleasantly fragranced hair products no matter how wonderful the performance is. It's packaging color is not very sexy, but at least I can find it in a hurry. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Not too crunchy, not too drying. There's nothing special about this hairspray. It smells better than most, does an ok job of holding in humidity. Eh. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not for fine hair
To me, "anti-humidity" means "anti-flat", as my fine hair loses all volume when it rains. I guess this only blocks humidity for those with curly/frizzy hair. It instantly straightened and flattened my hair (which I blowdry upside-down and curl daily to encourage volume). It didn't help my hair hold it's shape - it just killed it. I can imagine that someone who straightens her hair would like this product, but it just wasn't for me. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Just like an expensive salon brand...for less
I really like this hairspray. It holds well without being too stiff and is never, ever sticky. It holds your style well and has bounce back when you brush but never feels as if you've piled on the product no matter how much you spray. And the added bonus of extra shine? Perfect. L'Oreal Elnett has nothing on this hairspray (and it smells much better, too.) — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Shine!!
This is a really good product for people who are looking to smooth flyaways and add shine to their look. ONLY USE A SMALL MIST!! I made the mistake of using it like I would a heat protectant. That made my hair look greasy! Here's a tip: spray I all over your brush, tap out excess liquid and then brush through your hair OR LIGHTLY sprtiz your hair. Very lightly — 6 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good Hairspray for My Thick Hair
I don't use hairspray often but when I do this is the product I prefer. I hate aerosol-style sprays so the spritzing of this product is definitely better for me. It is great for mid-day flyaways; I often spray a little product on my hands and smooth over my hair to calm it down. — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Pretty Impressed :)
So I got blunt bangs a few weeks ago and have had some issues with keeping the style with the high humidity on the Gulf Coast. So I decided to give this a try and I am so happy with the results! Today was the first big test because I was outside quite a bit and the humidity was at an all time high. My bangs held up!! I blow dry them with a round bristle brush for volume, run the straightener through them a little to fight frizz, and then spray them with this hairspray. I honestly think the Sleek and Shine really works! This is the first time my style has held and stayed frizz free. It does what it says. Sleek and shiny!! UPDATE: So it has officially been 14 hours since I fixed my bangs and used this hairspray and my bangs are still holding up!! I took a hot bath and they held up in the steam! I LOVE this hairspray! Started off with 8 stars but now changing it to 10 :) — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Good!
I love the smell, and the hold- you don't need a lot for it to get the job done. But it didn't really help with the humidity- my hair (at the tips) ends up in different directions no matter what I exit it the house looking like, but then again you can only expect so much in FL humidity. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good for Everyday
Pros: Not sticky, doesn't have that frozen-hard-hair look, smells good, helps with humidity (i have naturally curly, course hair that i regularly straighten so anti-humidity is important to me), very workable, some shine. Cons: Can get flaky after a few hours, doesn't last all day. It's a good hairspray for things like keeping bangs a certain way, lightly holding barrel waves/curles and controlling flyaways non-obviously. It's a good every day kind of hairspray, comparable to Sebastian's staple — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
