Rimmel London Lash Maxxx

Yes, the mini toothbrush-like brush or "micro-bristles" of this mascara seem to coat every single lash so it looks like you have more of them. But contrary to what the name heavily implies, it completely lacks a volumizing effect because that little brush doesn't dispense enough product to create knock-out lashes. The formula isn't clumpy, but I also noticed flaking at day's end.

    Where is the Maxxx?

Overall, okay product, with a pretty easy-to-use comb brush, which leads to NO clumping and separates lashes like no other. The formula is really thin, so it takes a couple of applications to get its full effect, and it doesn't hold the curl for very long. There is no added volume at all added, which was disappointing, but... LOVE THIS PRODCUT

I love this product, This mascara is better than Maybelline New York Lash Style Mascara, This one I don't have to wipe the majority of it away! I have people ask me all the time if I wear fake eyelashes, I give them one look and laugh and say if I only knew how to wear fake eyelashes! I would never buy another type of mascara than this one! It's the best one I've ever used in all my years! November 29, 2007, 10:41 pm

    Wrong name but great product!

    by sunny4 (2 reviews)
I don't think they should have named this Lash Maxxx mascara. It doesn't give you thick lush lashes, but it does separate them and elongate them. I have very sparse uneven lashes and this does the job of making them look dark, long and flirty. I love this mascara, and didn't find it clumpy or flaky. It came off easily... Not so great!

    by Cara002 (25 reviews)
I was disappointed in this mascara. The comb thing isn't working for me, it takes several applications per lash to give me the same affect that other mascaras give in one. Too time consuming, but not the worst mascara I've tried. May 22, 2008, 8:40 pm

Rimmel London Lash Maxx the best performing mascara for the money

    by sumrgirl (4 reviews)
I have used Rimmel Lash Maxx for years and no matter how many other mascaras I try (I try a lot) I always go back to Lash Maxx. It's comb applicator coats and separates lashes making them look longer and thicker with no clumps. It comes off easily with eye makeup remover but does not smear or run. April 22, 2008, 12:54 pm

    hate the lash comb idea

    by corizotti (339 reviews)
not to thick, no clumps like they advertised, but i hate the 'lash comb'. i'm not too precise and unlike a brush you have to hold the comb just right, you know the back of the comb doesn't help! if you want longer looking lashes though, and are willing to pay attention, this is pretty good. Needs a back-up

    Wonderful

    by Hannah (16 reviews)
I'll agree that it take some effort to really volumize your lashes with this mascara, but I love that it doesn't look fake and it doesn't flake. I think seperation is the key to good mascara and this definitely does the job. December 7, 2007, 12:46 pm

    No Clump Fabulousness!

    by Theresa62 (3 reviews)
This is the first mascara I have ever used that has not clumped on my lashes. The comb applicator makes it easy to get every lash, and it doesn't smear under my eyes unless I don't wash it off at night! It's a great product. November 29, 2007, 10:04 am
