I definitely agree that I would try a sample without giving it second thought, but would never spend $55.00 on a unheard of product. More products would sell if samples were sent out,replacing the advertising that does not guarantee anything. This is an AMAZINGLY hydrating mask!
It is pricey but while working at Beauty.com we were given training and gratis products on all the lines we carried (my all time favorite chick job if only because of those kind of perks). I may never have tried this product otherwise, so I feel very fortunate to have had the chance. It's kind of cute, but not so cute, at the same time. The cutouts were designed with an asian face shape in mind...read more and it takes a little maneuvering to get it on right. Other than that you just sit back, put your feet up for awhile while you let yourself fall into a total state of relaxation (it's a great excuse to take a little "me time"). After removing the mask you can either rinse your face with cool water or a toner, or do what I do and rub the remaining residue into my skin until absorbed. It's the closest my skin has come to looking poreless since I was a preteen, and the dewy, healthy glow is just that - it doesn't leave a greasy or oily look or feel. You just end up with an incredibly healthy, fresh and,(dare I say it), younger looking complexion. Unless I had an endless supply of this, or I was independently wealthy, I would save this for important occasions, and use it several hours before.
