  I really liked this self-tanner. Sure, it smells like a typical self-tanner... but it IS a self-tanner! I think products that work will smell like this, so I'm willing to deal. I purchased it in "deep", even though I'm quite fair, because I don't like waiting. I applied it in a circular motion, starting at my feet... April 19, 2008, 6:47 am I really liked this self-tanner. Sure, it smells like a typical self-tanner... but it IS a self-tanner! I think products that work will smell like this, so I'm willing to deal. I purchased it in "deep", even though I'm quite fair, because I don't like waiting. I applied it in a circular motion, starting at my feet, and received a really nice, bronzy colour. Plus, it lasts! I've tried St. Tropez, which basically washes off the day after application! L'Oreal is a little expensive for my tastes, given the size of the bottle, but it does deliver a nice tan. I will continue to purchase. TIP: really rub this on in circular motions, otherwise it would probably streak. April 19, 2008, 6:47 am

  great application

  This is a good self-tanner. It's best I find to use it after a moisturizer or even a moisturizing self-tanner. It's shimmery, so expect the let it dry. It dries pretty fast, and the gel form feels great and goes on smooth. The only thing I don't like about this product is that it has parabens in it. I hate the idea of smoot... I hate the idea of smoothing parabens all over my body, given their potential side effects. Adding light AHA's is great for summer--you don't want to overexfoliate in the summer. For some people, the tube might not last too long, so keep that in mind when buying the shade. A lot of women choose the darker shade so they don't have to apply incessantly. Shaving sometimes strips the self-tanner, and then all that building up the tan runs down the shower drain. One of the best drugstore self-tanners--better than their lotion versions.   I use it all year around

  Great product! I buy it in Medium-Deep shade. It's light and easy to apply, and the tan looks natural and you can build the intensity to pretty dark by applying several days in a row. The fragrance is pleasant, unlike many other self-tanning products I've tried. I prefer this product to the lotion self-tanner by L'Oreal... December 1, 2007, 8:56 pm Great product! I prefer this product to the lotion self-tanner by L'Oreal because the "gelee" version does not have much shimmer which can look unnatural during winter. I apply this once a week in the winter months to keep from looking washed out. I mix it with Creative Nail Designs Vanilla Shimmer body lotion to cancel out the self tanning smell and apply more e...   I have tried a TON of self-tanners and this one is great. With each application, I get compliments on how tan I look. It smells like a strong perfume, not that horrible self-tan smell. I usually put it on at night for two nights...then I look like I have been at the beach. After a few days, it will get splotchy in some spot...   This works well, and if you make a mistake there is no going back! has staying power, but I suggest using it at night when you may be able to stand naked for a time and et it dry. Follow instructions to a tee else you will streak really badly May 23, 2008, 3:40 pm

  Great Smell - Good Color

  I switched to this product after trying several other self tanners and was very happy with the natural color it gives you. The only drawback is that it is a little thick so you have to make sure it is put on evenly. The smell is pretty nice and the price is very competitive with the more high end tanners.   Works well

  Slow Down

  I have used this product, and reached a very nice color. However, I decided one more application would make my tan even better. Wrong! I simply suggest that you not get carried away. More is not necessarily better. March 28, 2008, 4:56 pm
