L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream Reviews

L'Wonderful L'Occitane!
L'Occitane is a favorite of my husband and me. The shea butter deeply moisturizes. Honey and sweet almond extracts help to hydrate, while the gentle scent of ylang-ylang and jasmine soothes your senses. This absorbs easily, results in smooth skin, and is never greasy. You can rarely go wrong with shea or cocoa butter. — 1 week, 3 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I would not go any where without this.
I just bought this, and I was a die hard Aveda Hand Cream Lotion. I had no idea what a wonderful product this hand cream is. It really makes your hands look young, and a little goes a long way. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

One of my favorite hand creams!
PROS: I love the metal tube and apothecary-like packaging. Doesn't leak,, nice and sturdy and I can throw it in my purse or totebag without worrying it'll get everywhere. Nice scent, but not overpowering. Leaves my hands feeling moisturized but not greasy. CONS: Pretty expensive for a little tube! Overall, it is a bit spendy, but the quality is amazing. I should really stop trying to find a cheaper hand cream because the good ones do cost a bit more, and this one is worth it. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Amazing
This stuff is wonderful. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. It is lightly scented and absorbs into the skin very nicely. I find that my hands are soft all day after one use! — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Nice hand cream, but don't like the smell
I have heard so many great things about the L'Occitane shea hand creams. I have been using the original hand cream and although I like it, I would not repurchase this particular one due to its scent. This hand cream has a lot going for it though. I love the all of L'occitane's packaging and their hand creams are especially nice. The metal tube allows you to squeeze every last bit out and the crew top is secure so you don't have to worry about any spillage. It looks simple and quite chic, so great for pulling out of your purse. I also love that it isn't too bulky to carry around or have at your desk while you are working. I cream is very hydrating so a little goes a long way. It is also not greasy at all. This is crucial because I apply this at my desk and I don't want to have to wait to start typing and such. So really the only bad thing for me about this is the scent. To me, it smells matronly and too strong. Ideally this would have a lighter scent and smell more fresh. I like the cream itself enough to look into the other flavors that L'Occitane offers. — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Wonderful
I have a tiny, sample-size tube of this cream that I have been rationing for months. This hand cream is so amazing! It has little or no scent (I have a weak sense of smell--so do a sniff test first if you're sensitive to fragrance!), so it never overpowers my perfume, which I like. It isn't even a little bit greasy and it soaks right in. I have never used a hand cream that is as richly moisturizing as this one. When my tiny tube runs out (I don't have to use it often because it moisturizes so well!), I will definitely buy this again. A tiny bit goes a long way so it is definitely worth the price! — 2 weeks, 3 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Thick and concentrated hand cream for dry winter months
It comes in a tube and not a large tub or bottle. But the cream is is thick and very concentrated like my another favorite hand cream, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. While the Neutrogena one is awesome against winter cranked and chapped skin, this shea butter hand cream is spread and absorb slightly better. I have been using L'Occitane Shea Butter collection from body lotion to lip balm stick, I don't mind the smell of this product at all. I must say, compared to many other "thinner" hand cream/lotion, this cream is not too absorbing. But I just rub my hands a few times to make sure all the cream . I feel my hands are protected from cold wind. Yes, I agree this is expensive for hand cream, but I do like the way it makes my hands feel, and the small tube is ideal to take everywhere I go. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Creamy and Fresh
This hand cream really is the best. It goes on thick and creamy and it smells fresh. I love shea butter and this cream is great! It isn't too thick or too thin and greasy, leaves my hands feeling smooth and soft for hours upon hours. Very happy with it! — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
