Olay Regenerist Serum
I have given up on Olay products completely. They do absolutely NOTHING for me. Maybe they are helpful to others, but I have tried too many products like the night cream, wrinkle filler, and these products are worthless. The cream sits on my face and never absorbs. Be very wary. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 20 people said helpful

Use Only if You Want Velvety, Improved Skin
As Joan Rivers asks, "Can we talk?" Aren't you just a bit stunned and perplexed at the endless creams promising to take years off your face? I mean, come on--a cream is a cream is a cream, right? Not right, especially when a product is radically different and highly effective, such as Oil of Olay's "Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging Regenerating Serum" (fragrance-free). Wow, has Olay come a very long way from when it was a simple, humble pink moisturizer in a subdued black-and-white box with its amazing line of products. Yes, this is one of the items you continually hear proclaiming to outdo any high-end competition to turn back the clock and erase lines, so much so that it alleges that your skin is regenerated without the need for chemical peels, cosmetic surgery, or lasers. Could it be that good? How could I resist? I clipped a coupon from the Sunday paper and shopped. I followed directions and applied the lightweight serum as directed (once or twice daily, alone or under moisturizer and/or foundation). This cream deeply seeps into skin in a completely non-oily way, and the scent is quite delicate. I was anxious to see what would happen, as Olay promises immediate improvement and benefits which increase with time. I didn't morph into Cinderella, but the soft feeling was welcome, along with a slight increase in radiance. After using it religiously for a week, the results were obvious. Smile lines around my mouth were diminished, and those across my neck (which I have been trying to hide since childhood) were less visible. My skin was silky and hydrated. Seven days later, "silky" was now pure, luxurious velvet. Creases had virtually disappeared and my skin was visibly more refined and clarified. All this for about $21.00? Yep! The luscious formula includes an amino-peptide complex, some sun protection (SPF 15), B Vitamins, Vitamin C, and green tea leaf extract. As they say, "it's a keeper!" — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 16 of 18 people said helpful

Good serum
I like using this serum at night after washing my face, before moisturizing. I feel like it gives my super dry skin that bit of extra moisture it needs that it doesn't always get alone from moisturizer, — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 20 of 25 people said helpful

Lovely
I really love how this product applies as well as how it makes my skin feel. It find it really does help the texture of my skin. It is great for more mature ladies and us younger women alike. I don't have any wrinkles as I am in my 20s but I find it improves the quality of my skin. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 13 of 15 people said helpful

(Fragrance-free review) Great Anti-aging moisturizer, makeup primer, and eye cream too!
I tried the Fragrance Free version and have to say I am not a big fan of Olay's fragranced products. This is the BEST, BEST, BEST moisturizer ever! I used to only use department store moisturizers, but ran out and grabbed this one because it was on sale. I LOVE it! I have super sensitive, combo skin. It does not irritate at all. It is the same as Olay's eye lifting serum (but you get more for your money) minus the minerals so I used it as an eye cream too. It did not irritate my lids or eyes at all. This has a light, silky, silicone gel texture that absorbs beautifully. It made both the dry and oily areas of my face comfortably moisturized. It did not cause acne. I used it both at night and under makeup in the daytime. To my surprise, this also works great as a makeup primer and has awesome ingredients to keep your skin healthy in one step!. It made my face smooth and glowing and kept my makeup in place (eye shadow, liner, foundation, blush, powder, concealer and did not mess up my eyeliner or mascara). The pump dispenses the just right amount, keeps the serum fresh and potent. The pump also locks so it does not mess up your makeup bag and travels well. It is very reasonably priced and often goes on sale! Definite MUST have. If you try one drugstore skincare product, this is it. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 62 of 67 people said helpful

This isn't serum- it's silicone
This product coated my skin with an uncomfortable layer of silicone film because it has too much silicone in the formula (which isn't so "green" either!). It feels much heavier than regular serums, which should be watery and seep all the goodies right into the skin. This one doesn't absorb into the skin at all. If you're a true serum fan, this is disappointing. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 18 people said helpful

Pleasantly SHOCKED!
I have tried serums before, and to be honest, wasn't all that convinced that they were a "must have" for my facial routine, or anyone else either. I went from skeptic to a big time believer! I tried a serum by Boots that I did not see even a bit of difference, and this was after completing the entire glass pump. I also tried the Walmart generic version of the Olay Regenerist Serum; nothing, no difference. I wasn't sure I wanted to try anymore; they can be a little pricey, especially if they don't work. However, I came across an article with the "best" serums in it. Olay was listed as the "best buy." Let's be honest, sometimes these magazine articles are driven by advertising and marketing, and not accurate. (Like when I read an article, then on the next page is the product they are "recommending!") I just decided to give it a shot and I am glad I did! The serum has a very nice texture, not too oily as some serums are. (I have oily/combination skin in the Summer and combination/dry in the winter.) The smell was a bit strong for me; it is a very artificial, perfumey smell, but nothing that deterred me from continuing to use this product. And the best part? I noticed results in less than a week! My skin, in particular my cheeks, looked more even toned and glowing, and this is a girl that also uses 15% glycolic acid and retin-a. Wow. This serum can do what glycolic can't, in a shorter amount of time? This is a miracle serum! They need to change the name. :) — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 51 of 53 people said helpful

WOW I LOVE THIS SERUM
I have been using a week. Makes skin feel and look smooth. Goes on easy, I put my make up on over it. I use twice daily. It has changed my skin..I can wear less make-up and look better. Getting complements from strangers on my face. Good price for what it does. Packaged great. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

Soft, smooth skin
I love how soft and smooth this makes my skin feel. I use it morning and night before my moisturizer and have noticed how much better it seems to absorb. Compared to the serum from Estee Lauder, I actually prefer this one as it doesn't have the odd smell that the EL serum does. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 9 people said helpful
