Don't expect an overnight miracle, cause it ain't gonna happen. After continued use, you will see amazing results though. Your dark shadows will lighten considerably, and you'll get a luminizing effect immediately. You HAVE to be religious about using it, the days you don't use it will affect the results on the days you do use it. It's not a miracle but it does give great results if your good about using it everyday. I use it right above my upper lip as a highlighter and I love the effect it gives there as well. When, I first began using it I had my doubts about this product. As, I have dark circles around my eyes that I have been trying to find a good product to lighten them for years. Well,over time, it has started to really lighten my dark circles. It has mica in it, which over applied can look over sparkly around the eye area. Which is why, small amounts are needed when it comes to applying this product. Olay Definity Illuminating Eye Treatment is the best eye treatment I have tried in a long time. While it is not cheap, it is far less than many more expensive eye treatments that do not work nearlly as well. Also a little goes a long way. The lotion lightens dark circles and lines over time and even has small particles that brighten the eye area instantly without adding a "disco" look. A bit hard to blend, use LITTLE

I got this cause it's supposed to be good under make-up and was recommended by Paula Begoun. I don't have trouble with dark circles, but I do have fine lines that "illumination" is supposed to distract from. It also makes you look more awake & younger, LOL. USE VERY LITTLE, even the surface of your little finger is too much. And DON'T try to pat it on or you'll end up with a chalky, silvery, clumpy mess around your eyes and on your fingers. It will "pill up". You really need to literally rub it in, then let it set for at least 5 minutes before applying anything else. It does have a bit of sparkle to it, but it's not really garish. Since it has no SPF, I do put at least sunblock over it. I have been using this product twice daily for about a month. It does an average job of moisturizing and does brighten the under eye area. I have seen no reduction in darkness and undereye cricles. I'm a satisfied user on my second bottle. Now I wake up without dark circles! I have sensitive eyes & this doesn't hurt them, another plus. I like the bottle: i can see how much is left. You can control how much the pump dispenses. You don't need a full pump worth. This is one product that really works and gets better the more you use it.. I started using it about a month ago, and I love the cooling effect it has when applied under the eye area. It tightens mildly, but the real neat thing is how it makes your under eye area so beautiful again. Circles disappear, skin is hydrated and dewy looking and smoothe again. It does not flake even after twelve plus hours of wear. It is the perfect base for concealer, but you won't need much after applying some of this stuff!!Use it after washing your face at night, just before bed, and you look like you just woke up from a nap, all pink and glowing. The eye area is just supple and hydrated and could not look more radiant. I am 53 years old, and I have never found anything this great for making my undereye area so youthful looking.
