I make no effort to hide my undying love for Chanel, but no one should ever pay $50 for a powder. Not even if it's the smoothest, silkiest (talc) powder they've ever used. Not even if it smells like roses and comes in a luxurious mirrored compact with a separate (somewhat inconvenient), soft brush. Not even if it covers minor imperfections (not lines), leaving a flawless half-shimmer, half-matte finish. Nope, no one should ever pay that much for instant gratification.

UNIQUE POWER OF A HIGH-END POWDER

It is very unique to the sense that it does not compare to any other powders out there. The result is very different, just glow of a professionally done makeup it seems. It’s certainly worth every buck. I think you get what you pay for with the high-end makeup. They say, why drive a KIA if you can drive a Lexus. I think this will be my regular finishing powder. It's fabulous! May 5, 2008, 10:26 pm

I much prefer their loose powder, which is light, and doesn't settle into those fine lines. Recently tried using this product again, and within several hours, did NOT like the look!! (even applied sparingly, powder is much heavier than the loose version) November 29, 2007, 10:25 am
