Chanel Les Quatre Ombres De Chanel

What you're paying for: blendable matte, frost and satin shadows in a signature black case fit for a movie star. (Tip: Latch does not survive falls well.) What you're getting: four classic hues and two applicators in one palette along with subtle coverage that's durable, but not much better than that of Revlon's ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad. If it's value you're after, head for the drugstore. If it's glamour you want, spend. (I have three!)

    love it

I use this in Sand Dunes pretty much every single day. Every color is usable and work so well together. The shimmer isn't "sparkly" -- they just glow and flatter your eyes. I love the darkest color as an eyeliner. Get complements all the time. Highly recommended. Sometimes wish the pigment was a bit more in... November 27, 2007, 8:25 pm I use this in Sand Dunes pretty much every single day. Every color is usable and work so well together. The shimmer isn't "sparkly" -- they just glow and flatter your eyes. I love the darkest color as an eyeliner. Get complements all the time. Highly recommended. Sometimes wish the pigment was a bit more intense (think mac eyeshadow), but the thing is, this product builds really well and looks so natural -- I think it is designed that way. These are pricey, but grab 2.. one for everyday daytime and one for evening. Update yourself every season or 2 seasons, and save some cash. Great pigments, great color, ask a makeup artist to show you the best way to wear the colors. Most of the pallets can go from day to night. May 17, 2008, 1:02 am

    Beautiful look!

I do have to agree that although the price is steep, it's well worth it. One of the best eye make-up sets I've used. And I use a lot... I'm an esthetician. You'll love the results. May 16, 2008, 4:11 pm

    Addictive

Colors are so complemetary when you combine them. The powder is so silky and so well-pigmented, you can get the intensity you like without a thick layer. You can also use them wet for intensity and longer wear. Strongly recommended. December 27, 2007, 11:07 am

    glamour on the go

colors provided in Chanel eye shadows are very blendable and the texture of the powder is so fine that is easy to apply lightly or build the depth of color desired. I would give this product the highest rating. December 2, 2007, 12:19 pm

    Best staying power

    by Shopper510 (3 reviews)
I have several of the quads and I am never disappointed in them. They stay on all day without creasing and the shimmers are true subtle shimmer, not overly frosty. I hope they continue to come out with new quads for a long time to come! November 12, 2007, 4:32 pm

    Pretty Colors

    by Meaghanb123 (22 reviews)
I have this in Influences and Garden Party. Chanel shadows are pricey but they feel like silk and make you feel so luxurious. They do tend to fade away over the day but I must say, if I was stranded on a desert island this would be one of the products I would bring with me. October 17, 2007, 7:07 pm

    Fabulous colors!

    by vaddie (11 reviews)
Chanel does color best. However, they are not too easy on sensitive eyes and they really cake into the eye crease unless you use some kind of primer. I would recommend L'Oreal instead. They are really turning out some wonderful colors and they are great for sensitive eyes! Last all day, too. October 10, 2007, 11:00 am
