Not worth it

Oh, Aveda. This was another overpriced product that did not perform as promised. The scent was okay, but consistency wasn't nearly as rich as I prefer conditioners to be, and it left a filmy residue on hair. I did not perceive that it smoothed my hair any better than any other conditioner. This is a waste of money.

Works

I definitely notice a difference when I straighten my hair after using this conditioner versus other conditioners (I don't use the matching shampoo). My hair is softer, less frizzy, and keeps its straight style all day (albeit I use quite a few other products in my hair post-conditioning). It doesn't weigh my hair down. What I don't like is the smell, which is lemony in a medicinal kind of way, su...read morech as lemon cough syrup. I also don't like that I have to use a ton of product for thorough conditioning, and this stuff ain't cheap. I have fine, medium-length hair, so this would be even less cost-effective for someone with thick or long hair.

Weighted My Hair Down

Along with the shampoo, this stuff stinks. It weighed my hair down and did nothing it claimed to do! I was very upset when my high expectations for this were trashed. Another let down Aveda.

Wonderfully smoothing

I use this in conjunction with the Smooth Infusion Shampoo, and I think using them both together really helped calm down my frizzy hair. They moisturize beautifully and the conditioner rinses out well, and is so creamy and dreamy-smelling. Smooths hair!

Works nicely to smooth your hair, and helps hair dry faster. It can start to weigh down my hair if I don't rotate with other products, but otherwise it's great!

li Lked ths but....

a lot was stuck in the tube and hard to get out. I used scissors but then to much came out

Moisturizing but not overly so

Get the Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener Instead

I really love the style-prep product "Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener". I find that it gets my hair nice and straight and smooth. When I used this shampoo along with the glossing straightener, I didn't see a dramatic difference, so that is why I suggest just using the style prep product and skip the shampoo and conditioner. You just don't need all three.

REALLY DOES SMOOTH

Not only did I use as directed, but my stylist suggested leaving a SMALL amount on my hair as it air dried. Helped my style stay smooth and protected my hair from the flat iron.
