This buttery-thick hand cream feels like a mini spa experience thanks to the signature Aveda natural-extract smell. It has a greasy texture, so it's best applied before bed; I honestly can't sleep without my nightly slathering. It soothes and softens dry, scaly hands with its exfoliating fruit acids and anti-oxidants. And though it claims to be anti-aging, I can't say my hands look like a teenager's.

Great For Nails
by Sehne07 (2 reviews)I carry this around in a travel size daily. I don't have dry skin and I live in a humid climate, but this has worked wonders for getting my nails to grow! A dab on your nails after washing your hands keeps them moisturized and shiny and your cuticles in great shape. It is very emollient, so a dab the size of a pea will do, ...making the product last a long time and the price worth every penny. It smells fresh - earthy with a hint of lemon and not too sweet like most fruity hand creams do. Every time I pull it out of my bag, my friends ask if they can use some too. My favorite hand cream
by beachjeepingirl (19 reviews)I am a product junkie, and have been through tons of different hand creams. This is the only hand cream I have bought repeatedly and continues to be my favorite. It is rich without being greasy and smells fantastic. Just like the lady that reviewed this below, I am a big believer in sunscreen. What would make this produ...ct perfect is if they made a version of it with a UVA/UVB sunscreen so that it would protect hands from the sun during the day. Right now, I'm using another brand of hand cream when I'm outdoors because it has sunscreen, but the texture falls way short of this product. Good but pricey
by Bettym (2 reviews)Yes, this product does feel luxurious while being used. I think I can get a very similar feeling for much less money and end up with the same end results as long as I make sure that the lotion I use has a good SPF. I am 60 years old and have faithfully used lotion every time I put my hands in water all of my life. This incl...udes even the 6 years I worked in a school lunch room and you can imagine how hard that is on the hands. Even with all of that, my hands do not give away my age, and I don't have any brown age spots. October 25, 2007, 3:33 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

nice
by janedoe (25 reviews)Trusted ReviewHand relief has a wonderful, soothing scent. It's not chemically at all (as do a lot of lotions) and smells almost good enough to eat! The smell is very natural- smells like a sweet ginger. The scent, although very nice, is a little too strong for my preferences and would prefer something a bit more subdued. The lotion ...is just the right consistency - not too greasy but still very moisturizing & soothing. February 4, 2008, 11:06 am2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

My favorite hand lotion by far!
by mawrtyr88 (3 reviews)This lotion is unbeatable - my hand get really dry, especially in the wintertime, and in my job I am constantly cleaning my hands. One dab of Hand Relief and my hands are soft and comfortable again. The only reason I didn't give this a "10" is because it's a bit too much of a splurge right now with my grad scho...ol budget (but, the second I'm done and working again, you can bet I'll have it again!) My Favorite Hand Cream
by Charissa (3 reviews)For lasting impact, this is hands-down my favorite hand cream on the market. I've tried many but this is the one that seems to last through the whole day and protect my skin best from the cold, chapping, and paper cuts. I love that it is easily absorbed by the skin and isn't at all greasy. As someone who is sensitive t...o perfumes and heavy scents, I also like that the scent is almost non-existent within a short time of applying it. Great for Dry Hands
by girlwomanbeautybrainsblog (232 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerTotal Beauty BloggerTrusted ReviewI use Retin-A not only on my face but on my hands, too. Needless to say, my hands cry out for relief. Aveda's Hand Relief immediately soaks into my dry skin and leaves them feeling smooth. I slather this on day or night. May 2, 2008, 9:05 am1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Great, non-greasy formula with awesome moisturizing power!
by superkelli (10 reviews)This is truly one of the best moisturizers I've ever used. Goes on quite thick and creamy, sinks in to your skin quickly and doesn't have a greasy film like many hand lotions. Leaves a clean, herbal scent without being too overpowering. Moisture seems to last longer than other lotions I've used, and seems to really soak ...in better. April 28, 2008, 12:11 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
