LEAVES A STICKY MESS!

This is a terrible product. I like to scrunch my hair to make it curly. It's straight on the front and curly in the back. I thought this would be a good product to hold the curl in the straight area of my hair. It held the curl all right, but with a gooey, creepy feeling on my hair. The curls also felt stiff, and it removed any shine I had in my hair. Save your money! Carole

Wish I read these reviews first!

I have wavy hair and have been on an endless journey to find the perfect product; one that enhances my waves and combats the frizz. I can't tell you how much I WANTED to like this product but it just wasn't for me. I thought maybe I needed some hold so I tried mixing it with a light gel or mousse; then I tried letting it air dry; then using a diffuser; then adding shine serum.... The list goes on ...read moreand on. Some days it worked and other days not; I just found the product to be inconsistent and about as good as an average or below average drugstore product. It just wasn't worth the added expense. Unfortunately, my salon doesn't accept returns. :(

Just Okay

I think drug-store products work as well, if not better than this one, and for the price, I don't think it's worth it. It gave a little moisturizing. Maybe it was the wheat complex. But I didn't find the curls more defined like you see in the picture. It makes me think, "Is this REALLY the product being used for these fabulous curls?" Perhaps I'm using it wrong. So if you'd like to moist...read moreurize frizzy hair and then scrunch it while still damp to get better results, then purchase an Aveda product that's mediocre. But if you want to save a few bucks, go to your local drug-store.

great curls

I like the be curly cream. I have naturally curly, shoulder length hair and this really brings out my curls. You have to experiment to see how mush you need for your hair and I sometimes I combine it with Citre Shine serum for extra frizz protection. It's a little pricey so I don't use it everyday.

Doesn't create or enhance curls

I had my doubts as soon as I realized this product had a lotion-y texture, but I gave it several tries before giving up completely. Be Curly weighed down my hair, making it flat, and it didn't coax any curls out of my wavy-but-almost-curly hair. It smoothed my frizz and I loved the smell, but it doesn't work.

My Wavy Curls Were Not Pleased

This product was underwhelming for my hair. I have wavy hair that can take curl if I scrunch it, but this product didn't help define my curls and didn't help with taming frizziness either!

Great hold without the crunch

This has been my go to hair products lately. My hair is thick, curly, and wavy, and this product helps to keep the frizz in check without being too heavy. I am very particular about the products I leave in my hair because I like to let my waves show, and this enhances my hair's natural texture. I have to add the smell is wonderful as well.

good for fine hair

This is the perfect product to separate curls and give you a beachy, wavy look instead of a frizzy, unruly look. This product works great with my fine and damaged hair: women with thicker hair may need more hold. Remember to shake well and use only on damp hair: if you use it on dry hair, your hair will turn out sticky. While pricey, you only need a quarter size amount, so the bottle will last you a long time.

Best curl control

This really works! When I put it on my damp hair, it really controls the frizz and enhances the curls. It really does what it says it will. It also smells quite nice.
