I've suffered from acne since I was in high school, and have literally tried just about everything on the market. After hearing so many people rave about Cetaphil I decided to give it a try. Initially i loved the face wash, it cleared my breakouts and left my skin feeling nice and clean, but after a few weeks of using it my skin was extremely dry and no moisturizer that I used could combat the dryness. Worth the money

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
After consistently buying this product for over 4 years, there are a few things you should know before buying. 1) Cetaphil is an ideal cleanser for those who are using dermatological topicals such as differin, clindamycin, or retinol. In general skin topicals are extremely drying, thus using a very gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil will help to keep the skins moisture as balanced as possible. 2) Cetaphil is also ideal for facial redness and rosacea. 3.) Despite the label tells you it will wash away makeup… It is not the best makeup remover. I usually use wipes prior to washing my face. Now I’ve read a few reviews saying that it has dried out their skin, but there ARE two formulas. The daily cleanser for ‘normal to oily’ and the ‘gentle skin’ type (which is oil free) FTW the normal to oily skin type contains castor oil. My theory is that maybe you aren’t using the right formula, because oil cancels out oil. The Gentle skin daily cleanser has never exaggerated dryness for me. Nothing works for my face n everything makes it worse.. So i did some research n i found this.. I've used it for about 2 mths n my face is almost cleared.. Great for removing makeup .. Slimy face!
This leaves a weird, slimy feeling on my face after using it. It feels like I'm rubbing lotion on my face. How exactly is this supposed to be "cleansing"? My dermatologist recommended that I use this for my sensitive skin. I THOUGHT it was ok at first, but then I realized that the cause of all my breakouts was this cleanser. Well, it didn't cause it directly, but I realized that it DOES NOT remove makeup well at all after I tried using a toner on a cotton ball one day. WOW there was SO much foundation left on my face! Wasn't this facial cleanser supposed to take care of that??? If you have very dry, sensitive skin...and you don't use makeup...then this is an alright product. Trying it out
just bought this today. I have sensitive skin, dry cheeks and oily t zone. I have been breaking out for some reason lately. I'm 16 and it's annoying. Hoping this will do the trick!
