It won't get makeup off well, unless you only wear a little bit and it isn't the long lasting kind. But it's a nice cleanser for the morning that won't strip your skin dry. It's reasonably priced, and the pump is easy to use. I received a full-sized sample of the Cetaphil and thought that it would perfect for my mom. She is 63 years old with very thin skin that has been completely destroyed by the sun. I have always heard such great things about how good Cetaphil is for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it further dried out her skin and she had a bit of a reaction to it. I have really sensitive skin and this is the first that didn't turn my face red upon contact. I use it in the morning and at night and it doesn't dry my skin out. I love that its unscented which probably helps with the non-irritation of my skin. It doesn't take off eye makeup but seems to remove my foundation and concealer decently well without making my skin feel tight.
