L'Oréal Paris Sublime Glow Daily Body Moisturizer & Natural Skin Tone Enhancer Reviews

Gets everywhere
TheLacqueredLady (588 reviews)This tanner smells like lemon iced tea and tends to get everywhere. It takes a while to dry and has a brown undertone. This might not be bad for someone with yellow undertones, but with my pink undertones it just looked odd. — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Better than Jergens's
teshie (396 reviews)I have extremely pasty legs. A full-on tan would look unnatural, but I wanted a product that would take the glare off. I switched to this product from a very similar product from Jergens after Consumer Reports gave it a thumbs up. It does have that self-tanner smell, but it's ever-so-faint and mostly masked by a sweet smell that I like. It takes about three days to see results, but the subtle, natural tan is worth the wait. In the meantime, this product distributes shimmer when you use it. For that reason, I wouldn't put it on before going to bed, but I love to use it on my legs when I wear shorts, a skirt, or a dress. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Washes right off
amygab1126 (240 reviews)Upon first applying this product, I liked it. It was thin enough to apply evenly and soaked in quickly. It smelled good, and the shimmer was pretty, not bothersome. By the end of the day, I was satisfied with the noticeable color change. However, after a shower the next morning, I found I was back at square one. The "tan" washed off almost completely, except in a few drier spots. Because of this, a week of daily use left me sort of blotchy. The majority of color in this product seems to just sit on top of the skin waiting to be removed, rather than staining it for a lasting "tan". Further evidence of the color's easy removal is it's obvious transfer to clothing. I know most self tanners do rub off on bra straps and such, but this seemed to be a worse offender. This would be alright for special occaisions, because it looks great on, but it's not a good option for regular use. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Not Bad
candyisdandy (5 reviews)I usually use this gradual tanner in the summer and Jergens in the winter. I like this product. It's not amazing, but it gets the job done for cheap and I have never turned orange. The smell isn't fantastic, but I have yet to encounter a sunless tanner that has mastered the art of covering up the chemical smell that is DHA. It offers a nice, even, natural look tan. The size of the bottle for the price is great, you really get your monies worth. The only thing I don't care for with this product is the shimmer..even though I shake the bottle before using (i don't know if it helps haha) the shimmer gets a bit clumpy and icky. I always apply this product right before bed and shower it off in the morning. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

pretty good so far!!!! :)
jaejae_121 (37 reviews)SO I was very skeptical in trying a cheap self tanner because in high school I used the sublime bronze gel formula and it turned ORANGE and as it was fading it was cracking and I looked like a lizard. However, back then I never exfoliated like I do now so I can't blame the product unless I try it again. ANYWAYS so I tried this lotion formula and so far so good! :) I love the sparkles, it makes me look skinnier :) well I think. It's very comparable to the clinique tinted self tanner which I used to use but has gone out of my budget and by the way, is border line orange. At first when you use it you love it cuz it looks so brown but when it's not that sunny out and it's cloudy, your tan looks orange to everyone around you :( This lotion has a very natural color. The only complaints I have about this product is the smell on my skin and how runny the formula is. I have yet to find a self tanner that does not smell bad on me. And the runniness is probably what makes a little go a long way and makes the formula streak free. Today is the first day I've applied this on my skin, so I will update my review in a couple of days!!! :) — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

smells good, works good
saralhun (16 reviews)this smells WAY better than jergens natural glow. for sure. it's best to apply this stuff at night, your body will absorb it better. and anyway, i didnt notice ANY shimmer. I've used the gel stuff by L'oreal, and holy moly, really shimmery- but the LOTION...no shimmer. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The best sunless tanner ever!!
Ragan6 (6 reviews)This gives me the most natural looking color and is virtually mistake proof. While I can slightly detect the sunless tanner smell my husband thinks it smells great he always compliments me when I wear it. The finish is very flattering. Only negative is the thin consistancy but I think that is why it almost streak free. I also use this on my face and it looks great. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 10 people said helpful

one of the best gradual tanners you can get.
clovester (6 reviews)i've been using this since last year i bought it on a whim and i'm sure glad i did. this works great in the winter to brighten your skin and in the summer it looks great also. it has a light smell, and slight shimmer. might not be for all but i find that the color works better with my skin tone than the jergens brands and i love the glow it gives my skin. its not streaky and looks very natural! definitely worth a try! — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Best for face so far!
cyntiaV (1 reviews)After searching the isles and reading tons of reviews, this is by far the best self tanner I have found for the face. Others are a bit heavy and make my skin break out, but this one leaves a great glow and no breakouts. I put this on in the morning and follow up with Olay Definity tinted moisturizer and I'm good to go. No heavy foundation needed! Great product at a great price. shimmery!
kim (6 reviews)This is an ok product. The color develops nicely, minimal streaking a lends a soft, subtle glow to skin. There is some shimmer to this cream;however, it fades very soon after application. At first the scent is pleasant, reminscent of green tea-but soon it turns to that chemical smell that all self-tanners seem to impart. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
