DO NOT LET THE CLAIM MORISTURIZER FOOL YOU. THIS DOES NOT MOISTURIZE AT ALL. THE TONE ENHANCERS ARE LOVELY. YET, THE TINT DOES NOT LAST YOU THROUGH YOUR FIRST DIP IN THE POOL.10/26/2007

    Easy to use self tanner

The only thing you need to remember is to wash your hands after you apply it so that your hands don't tan. This doesn't leave streaks like other tanners. It should be used almost every day or every other day for the tan to look and stay the best. As with any self tanner, wait a little bit before dressing to let it dry and soak in. Best I've found

    by lynngmarshall (5 reviews)
I've tried dozens of self tanners and this is my favorite. It leaves a little bit of sparkle on your skin that looks sexy and the tan looks really great. It doesn't stink like alot of other self tanners. I also love the way it doesn't dry out my skin. May 19, 2008, 4:47 am

Too much shimmer, too much transfer for morning application, too much stink!

Even after its been on for 8 HOURS it still transfers to bras and other fabrics. the shimmer can't sink in, it just makes a messy residual film. Shimmer aside it DID give a very nice color to my pale white skin with blue veins. May 18, 2008, 12:39 am

    I like it!

    by ashley_boogaard (1 review)
It is my opinion that this is one of the best self tanners on the market. It's gradual, it lets you pick your skin tone, and it doesn't reek like many others do. In a matter of 3 days, I had the healthy suntan I was looking for. June 23, 2008, 2:30 pm

I use this product in the evening after a shower. I find that using the medium twice in a week gives me a lasting tan for a few weeks that fades naturally. I do think part of the reason for this is that I use oil of olay liquid soap with shea butter, which is very moisturizing, and I also apply shea butter moisturizer about once a week. This product does have some of the old school odor that original tanners from years back had. It's subtle though, and when applying at night I find it doesn't really bother me. I haven't had any streaking problem with this product. Nor have I had any transfer problem where it stains clothes. But again, I use it just before going to sleep where I'm in not rush and can let it dry while I relax and wind down for the evening. For the price, I think it's great stuff, and I generally find CVS runs sales for $6 a bottle every few months. You really can't beat that. June 5, 2008, 7:43 am

    Makes Skin Glow

    by deb247 (35 reviews)
I love to mix this with Loreal's Sublime Tinted Self Tanner. This will make the perfect combination. Really can deepen an already existing tan and make winter skin have a really healthy glow. April 22, 2008, 6:50 pm

    Better than Jergens's

I have extremely pasty legs. A full-on tan would look unnatural, but I wanted a product that would take the glare off. A full-on tan would look unnatural, but I wanted a product that would take the glare off. I switched to this product from a very similar product from Jergens after Consumer Reports gave it a thumbs up. It does have that self-tanner smell, but it's ever-so-faint and mostly masked by a sweet smell that I like. It takes about three days to see results, but the subtle, natural tan is worth the wait. In the meantime, this product distributes shimmer when you use it. For that reason, I wouldn't put it on before going to bed, but I love to use it on my legs when I wear shorts, a skirt, or a dress.
