Yay and Nay
I have pros and cons about this formulation. It can get sticky while drying, therefore, very minimal should be used. I do like how it does give my eyes a quick lift and a light fill to smooth the lines so this is great under makeup and before going out without makeup, it brightens my eye area. Although, I don't see it working long term for me as far as results are concerned. This is a light, easy to dab cream around the eye area and overnight, it has helped me look more awake but I wouldn't consider it a a miracle in a jar. It's just a good handy cream for quick fix ups. — 5 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful

No noticeable difference
I was looking for a product that could help with puffiness because i have really bad allergies. This product was suppose to help with that but did absolutely nothing. And it does take entirely too long to dry, don't waste your money. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Why did I ever stop using this?
I got this a while ago, but for some reason I stopped using it.. probably bc it doesn't have longer lasting effects. But I love this! I started looking for different eye creams that help with dark circles, but everything I used didn't work. I even used a $20 cream from the body shop.. didn't work. Recently, a facial wash or moisturizer I was using made my eyes very irritated. I found this cream, hidden in the back of my drawer and used it. The redness and flaking went away quickly! Plus it brightens my eyes a bit. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

EXCELLENT: Gentle, Effective
I've loved this product for years, and it's made a big difference. It's true that it's treated like a forgotten stepsister to the company's newer, pricier, "high-tech" products that contain way more chemicals and way more irritation, just because it's been around so long. The mere fact that it's been around so long, when companies whip products off the market every minute, is a testament to its effectiveness and popularity. And it's interesting that suddenly the term "liposomes" has made a big comeback. I've tried a ton of eye gels and creams, including others in the L'Oreal line, and every one of them burned, stung, and occasionally caused red blotches. This is the very best I've ever tried, and I've tried some super high-end brands that promise much more. Eye Defense instantly smoothes out fine lines, sinks in and deeply hydrates with no irritation whatsoever. The gel is cooling and refreshing, and the effects are long-lasting. I use liner and shadow under my eyes, and a lot of mascara on my lower lashes, and this product doesn't interfere with the make-up at all. Very highly recommended. CAUTION: there are many other L'Oreal products that come in little white boxes with similar names, including other eye products in the Dermo-Expertise line. Make sure you write down the exact, full name of this product to take with you. TIP: Walgreens has a no-hassle return policy on skincare products at their cosmetic counters. So if it doesn't work out for you, you haven't lost anything. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Doesn't work
It do anything for me. It takes a long time to dry, doen't reduce lines or circles, and I gave it a 2 only because it didn't irritate my eyes. Save your money and don't buy this. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

so so
under eye area a little smoother, but no big results, wasn't as bothered by 'stickiness' as other reviewers — 5 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Whatever
Doesn't work, doesn't work, doesn't work...Much too thin (I'm only 28, & still swear it's WAY too thin), no visible results at first nor later, & isn't worth the time it takes to let it dry (which does take longer than it should). — 5 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Immediate enlightening...
While I'm not sure how long its effects last, this eye cream certainly brightens your eyes at first application. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
