Maybe I'm stupid, maybe my hands don't work idk... but this is NOT advanced. First of all I had to go over my eye lid numerous times before the liner would show up on top of my eye shadow. Not to mention if I put it on first and put shadow over it it would vanish. It smudges great, you don't even have to touch it! Not good for a cat eye or any eye for that matter. Did I mention it didn't advance? Not only did the liner fall short but I was only able to use what was visible when first purchased, after what was originally showing was gone (after five days) I have nothing left to work with. I couldn't turn the liner up to give me more to use. So now I have $5+ worth of liner stuck inside a tube. great color in smear city!
My regular brand was out of stock, and I was in desperate need of a black liner, so I gave this a go. It went on smoothly and easily, and with a gorgeous, rich black color. Too bad it wound up smearing, even in places I can't imagine how it got to. It's like small clumps would come off and then when I tried blotting them away, it just turned into more streaks. Best Liner

Disappointed
Back to my old brand (another self-sharpening eyeliner). I went through this way too fast, and the cap seemed to mash down the tip of the eyeliner too easily, wasting it even more. LOVE this eyeliner!

Finally a pencil I don't have to sharpen
The texture is just right - not so hard that it pulls your eye tissue, but not too soft either. And since I tend to abandon pencils when they need sharpening (never can figure out a foolproof way to sharpen and not leave wooden edges, and also have a point), this is the perfect eyeliner for me. NOT SO SELF ADVANCING

Loreal Paris Pencil Liner
I liked this alot as it goes on nice and smooth and lasts all day. The liner ran out quickly as I used it every day but it isn't so expensive that I can't replace it.
