Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara
I have to agree it's a very good mascara. I've stayed away from Maybelline for a while in favor of more expensive department-store brands, but ever since I started working from home and I don't have to put makeup on every day, the thought of spending $30+ for a tube of something I'll use twice a week and then throw away after three months just wasn't as justifiable. The applicator is unusual, and you have to get used to it. Once you do, however, you'll see that it's useful in ways a regular wand wouldn't be, like applying a very even coat and separating your lashes. I have noticed it may clump if the previous coat dries too much before you put the next coat on, but nothing that a little practice wouldn't help. There is literally nothing I find more trashy-looking than clumpy mascara, and once I've figured out the method, I can happily report my lashes being clump-free every time I've used the Lash Stylist. It lasts all day, too, even in the ridiculously humid Houston climate. I bought it on amazon, for about $10 for two tubes of brown-black. Would definitely buy it again, if anyone still sells it a few months from now. I refuse to leave the house without mascara, and I have searched high and low for ten years to find the best mascara to volumize my thin, short eyelashes. This is the absolute best mascara I have ever used!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's discontinued. I still order it online where I can find it because no other mascara, cheap or expensive, has ever come close to being as great. It separates lashes, volumizes, and adds length. It's essentially perfect. Please bring it back, Maybelline! This is the best mascara I've ever had and I've tried Lancome, YSL, Rimmel, Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder ... just to name a few. I can't tell how upset I was a couple of weeks ago when I realised this product had been discontinued. :-( It's the first mascara ever that I didn't need to use a lash curler, it curled, lifted my lashes and gave an awesome volume. Never flaked, never smudged, lasted long - the best mascara ever hands down. I can't believe it's gone, I don't know what I'll use now since no other mascara HE or LE/DS can't compare to this one. I used this mascara for the first time at a friend's house.. I fell in LOVE with it.. This and diorshow are my HG mascaras, but they both are for different reasons. Now diorshow is all-over thickening, but this one is LENGTH and thick length. I bought the waterproof when I went on vacation and when I came back I went to buy the normal one but they discontinued it and it was nowhere to be found! Rimmel's comb-mascara comes nowhere near to this one, so now I just use the Lash Stylist brush in other mascara tubes, haha! I recommend doing this if you love this mascara, there are enough other mascaras with the same consistency and same opening-size that'll fit right in! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

One stroke, done!
This is the only mascara that I don't have to go over my lashes five, ten, twenty strokes to get the thickness with separation. This does it in one stroke, i'm serious! It goes on like it's almost too thick, but that's fine because the lashes are very separated. The comb style makes it impossible to clump. The black is very glossy and dark, it's a great buy for the price. I'll use this for the rest of my life, so they better never discontiue it! — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

BEST MASCARA EVER!!
I love love love this mascara!! It literally makes my lashes look miles long. Each individual lash is defined and curled with the comb applicator. Every time I use it, I get compliments and most of the people ask me if those are my real lashes!! (which they are, I haven't mastered false eyelashes). I never get clumps or tarantula eyes with this mascara. It has great staying power too. By the end of the day my lashes look just as they did when I left the house that morning. It's very affordable ($6.99 at most drugstores) and lasts me a long time. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that wants long, defined, curled and volumized lashes because this mascara does it all!! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A gift from Mom.
I received this mascara as a gift from my mom. She said it was awesome and so I gave it try and it was, while I am NOT an avid purchaser. I have used it on my lashes a few times and they always look good. So I like this product. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great look, but hard lashes
I have pretty long lashes as it is, but this makes them look incredible. I will admit I had a hard time learning to use the wand at first (it's not the typical full circular one - it looks like a comb), but after I did, I can't switch back. Almost every other mascara I have used clumps despite the promises of being clump-free. I've even tried the more expensive brands...Dior, Lancome, etc. When you first begin using this, you have to start at the base and sweep from top to bottom a few times in a row. Sometimes, with new tubes, it puts too much product onto your lashes and gives a solid wall of mascara. In that case, I just push my thumb and index finger over my lashes and it removes most of it. Definitely worth trying a tube. As with all mascaras...beware of buying them on sale b/c they're usually old and dried up. I finally stopped using this because it made my lashes really hard and they hurt whenever something touched them, though. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not too shabby...
I have seen this mascara around for awhile and skipped over it because I figured a comb for mascara was a bad idea. Wouldn't all the mascara cake up on the brush? So when I saw this for 2 bucks at Big Lots I figured it was a small price to pay if the product was absolutely horrible, and I'm obsessed with mascaras and have to try them all. The mascara does go on a bit thick but not goopy or clumpy, the comb separates pretty well. My only problem is that it makes my lashes look more short and fat than lengthened. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it can be good for when I want more dense lashes, just not what I expected from this mascara. This also hasn't smudged or flaked on me. This isn't too shabby a mascara, but just not my favorite. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The Best!
This is the only mascara I have ever bought that has done everything it says it will. I use the waterproof one, It sets my eyelash curl and makes them look way longer and fuller instantly. All the other brands usually straighten my eyelashes which irritates me! This is also not lumpy and doesn't clump your eyelashes together like others. I have tried the newer ones and no matter the brand, I have not found one that comes close. It does it all and it does it beautifully! Try it and you will love it too! — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

the best drug store mascara
If they ever quit making this I will cry my eyes out. Mascara is the one thing I will never leave the house without and this makes my eyes pop. The comb takes a little getting used to, but one coat and wow! Big beautiful thick lashes. It also does not smudge or flake...I try new things, but end up buying this again — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
