It's oK
Definitely not one of my favorites but it's good for a quick fix. It does seperate lashes very well. Maybe if it had a different brush I'd like the way it applies better.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not a fan
I've read over and over in magazines and beauty articles about how great this mascara is, but I have never been impressed with it. Every few years I give it another chance, but I always find the volume unimpressive and it smudges badly under my eyes by the end of the day.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Great mascara for naturally long lashes!
This is a great mascara for my long eyelash type as it enhances my naturally long eyelashes. The other mascaras tried made my naturally long eyelashes look too fake and those other mascaras were too much for me to use.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Worst mascara ever
I have never been able to get this mascara to work for me. My mother uses it as her staple so when i run out I go to it acouple times a year... It seems like it slides off within just two hours. It takes forever to dry -so if i blink i get the Raggety Ann or Twiggy eye makeup look. makes my lashes look too thin. it doesn't stay on my lashes but its hard to get off my skin. Natural , but too watery
This mascara does not clump at all. And it is great for separating every single lash. But it sucks at adding length and volume. not my favorite
This mascara tends to smudge, doesnt lash long & does nothing for volume. It does a nice job of darkening lashes. For a little while anyways. Im a big fan of Maybelline's mascara's. Not so much for this one though.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Wanted to love it
I don't understand how this has been a top mascara for so long. I have tried it several times throughout the years and I just cannot get it to work for me. The bristles are spaced too far apart. The formula is far too thin and it doesn't hold my curl. It flakes later in the day. What am I doing wrong?! I actually have a tube now that I am doing my own little experiment with. I am going to let it "...read moreage" (lol) to see if it will work better for me once it has thickened in the tube because the main problem I have with it is the thin formula. Once applied, I can't so much as blink or I have it EVERYWHERE. Also, because of its thinness, one coat does nothing but color the lashes. Once I try to add a second coat, lumps galore! Just Ok
Well about two years ago Maybelline Great Lash was my only mascara and I loved it, then I turned to something else, then about three months ago I bought it again, the Curved version of it and in Very Black. I am not too thrilled with it because it seems like I have to keep applying this mascara just on one eye for a long time before I get the desired volume and length, but then my lashes feel just...read more too heavy. It could be the way I am applying it which seems like a lot of work to me. Another thing is I am currently learning more and more about animal cruelty and animal testing is the biggest of all that bothers me when it comes to beauty industry. Maybelline is one of those companies that still test on animals and it will not be part of my beauty routine anymore, I am officially getting rid of all Maybelline New York products I have and not purchasing any again until the company makes some changes.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

They Lied
Everyone talks about how great of a msacara this is. I'm used to loreal and ran out and decided to try. OMG they were wrong. It doesn't separate and runs like a river. Also smudges really easily. It's horrible!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
