Long Lasting Lip Color
I purchased this in two colors one a beige color and the other a lilac color. The wand has color on one side and a clear lip balm on the other. You put the color on and wait for it to thoroughly dry (about 2 minutes) then use the clear lip balm to set it. It is good if you plan to eat out and don't want to be the girl who puts lipstick on after dinner. It won't come off on your drinking glass either. My Mom tried this too and even wore it to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned and she said it didn't come off. Even the Hygienist was impressed. So if you want a true lip stain that lasts, this one is for you. The only thing I didn't like, is that is seemed to make my lips feel more dry after using it for a few days in a row. So I only use it on special occassions so my lips won't get too dry. But while the color is on, my lips did look smooth. It was only after I took the product off that my lips felt dry and only after a few days in a row of wearing it. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wet shiny look
This lip color is not as drying as other brands. However it feels dry if you compared to normal lipglosses, but that is how long wear types become durable. You have to wait until the base coat is fully dry, which takes a little longer than some brands (about 5 min if you put it on thick). The top coat is very shiny, giving you that wet look. If you're not used to the 2 step, it could be a little annoying. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Covers like a lipstick
I was pretty impressed by how well this covered my lips. The coverage isn't as sheer as I thought it would be for a gloss, and I like that. The two minutes you have to wait to put on the clear gloss is annoying because during this time the color can and will smudge if you aren't careful. But once dry and a little clear gloss is added, this product really shines. I didn't notice any lip drying and got about six hours of wear out of this with eating and drinking. I actually like this better than the Superstay Lipstick. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Standout product
Here's some technology that actually came off well. Maybelline does hit the jackpot once in a while. This gloss is very natural looking and has the right amount of shimmer plus it really stays on well. As with any long-wear product there will be a bit of dryness, but Superstay leaves your lips with a minimal amount as compared with other long-wear products I've tried. The one drawback? The gloss it comes with is goopy, thick, and sticky and seeps out of the tube. Boo. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

LOVE this!
I saw this at Big Lots for a very low price and had to try it out. I wasn't expecting much, but it lasts a good 8 hours. It's a bit drying, so I alternate between adding the gloss and Carmex on top of it to freshen it up during the day. Doesn't really bleed or feather for me. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Dry, flaky...glossy?
I have to agree with one of the reviewers who gave this lip gloss poor marks: This lip gloss was very drying. The only thing that makes this a lip gloss is the clear gloss coat you put over the color. The color itself dries and cracks much too easily. This formula seems to be way more drying than the Superstay lipstick. The only real difference between the Superstay lipstick and Superstay lip gloss were the clear top coats. If that's the only difference between these two products, I'm sticking with the Superstay lipstick. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

weird uneven application, harder to remove than the superstay lipstick
I had really good luck with L'oreal Infallible gloss so I figured a stayput gloss is always more of a good thing to have in my "makeup toolbox" (as my fiance calls it). This is a no. The application is uneven and leaves big creases on my lips despite leaving it dry for the full 2 minutes (I even let it dry for over that and experimented with around 30 to a minute seconds to no avail). Plus I had to scrub the stuff off to get it removed and still wasn't completely off - it left a weird ring around my lips (AND on the spot where I tried it on my hand). I bought color 103 (there is printing over the color number so I can't see it too well). The color was cute so maybe it was just the shade I got that didn't apply quite right. I think I'll still stick to the Infallible line of glosses. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

It's a winner!
Ok, I usually don't have much faith in long-wearing lip products, but I had to try this product---and I really like it! The color glides on evenly, and can be applied sheer or built-up with a few coats for stronger color. Once it dries in two minutes, the extremely glossy topcoat is applied. The clear topcoat is very thick and shiny, and is similar to MAC's clear lipglass. This gloss stays on much longer than the average lipgloss. The clear topcoat stays on for a very long time, and even after it wears off, the lipcolor won't turn crumbly and dry, or dare leave a ring around the lips. My favorite shades are Radiant Ruby, Citrus Glow and Golden Toffee. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great for a longlasting lipgloss
I was pretty impressed with this product. I have tried long-wearing lipsticks (other brands not Maybelline's) and hated them. The colors on those felt like you were putting thick house paint on and did not look attractive, especially when it seeped into lines and flaked off seconds after application. But this gloss is wonderful, the only annoying part is waiting two minutes for the color to dry. Recently though I have noticed the gloss half does leak so I have started storing them up right. I don't put them in my purse anyway since I don't have to touch up with this product. Other than those two negatives the color goes on light, not thick or paint-like. The gloss is moisturizing and pretty shiny. I have one in Radiant Ruby and it is not too strong a red at all, very easy to wear. Also Glass Rose is a pretty pink color that will probably look good on everyone. When I wear these I just bring a plain lipgloss with me when it loses shine. The color lasts probably 6 hours for me but to me that's great for a lipgloss! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
