Great Buy
At first I noticed 3 or 4 streaks, but i rubbed them off as soon as i saw them and the color was streak-free again. After just one application and about 4 hours later, my skin transformed into a nice bronze like tan that was even all over. dissapointing
I had high hopes for this, based upon the other reviews. I'm SO glad I didn't use the bogo offer that was avaialable when I bought it. ok the PROs: nice, non-orangy color, decent value for size of tube. CONs: streaky (they need to go back & remove that claim) and it has the usual self-tanner stink- just as bad as any of them. Oh well...moving on in my search for a tryly no stinky, non-steaky and non-orangy product. Too Bad :(
I really wanted to like this product, and tried it on several occasions. I followed all the directions (even exfoliating!!) and it would turn up with a good color... until I was under harsh lighting, yikes! It was a deep, very obvious orange/brown color and it didn't go away for at least three days. None of that orange color...
Thank God! A product that doesn't turn you an unusual shade of orange. lol- there are too many of those out there. this is a light, non greasy formula that actually gives you that subtle tan that you are looking for. Nothing less then AWESOME!! The Best
Hands down, by far the best sunless tanner on the market. I'm fair skinned and get a lovely, deep, even color quickly (and, unless I'm too sloppy, without streaks). It fades evenly (no spots) and works quickly. Great color for a great price!
While I was waiting for a much more expensive Clarins self-tanner to arrive by mail, I tried Banana Boat Summer Color. I'm so glad I did! It ended up being a more natural, almost streak-free color. It is better than the Clarins I had read so many rave reviews for and paid 5 times more for. Awesome sunless tanner!
I love the idea of sunless tanner, but it is so hard to find a good one that doesn't look too orangey or steaky. After reading the reviews on several sunless tanners on this site, I decided to give the Banana Boat Summer Color a try, and I LOVE IT! It goes on as easily as a lotion (make sure to just blend it in well) and it is tinted so you can tell where you have applied it. It doesn't smell nearly as bad as most other tanners, and it gives a nice shade of color to my skin. I apply every couple days to maintain my "tan". The lotion also makes my skin really soft and moisturized without making it break out (my skin is super sensitive).
