Close to Lash Perfection
I'm not sure what convinced me to try this mascara ($27.00 at Sephora), but I am certainly glad I did! It claims to give up to six times more volume. I can't say I had an increase to that extent, but my lashes are much fuller with this. The formula is glossy and supple. It has a special POWERFULL™ brush made to coat each lash from root to tip. The formula itself, called SoftSculp,™ wraps around lashes without annoying clumps, flaking, or smudging. Applying several coats is easy with this, something I rarely do with most mascaras. It stays put for a long time. A great mascara
It really does build volume. A secret I learned is to first apply Sephora eyelash primer. Then apply a coat of this mascara. Then take a clean mascara wand and brush it through the mascara while still wet. This separates the mascara, and there is no clumping. I apply 2 coats of this mascara, brushing each coat. Not good!
This mascara was so bad, I would have gone sans makeup rather than wear it a second time. The formula was goopy, and the applicator brush is so flexible tht there is no chance of lash separation. not another mascara
This one is DIFFERENT. It goes on very thick without the gloppiness, yet lashes are somehow very separated. The look is shiny and luxurious, because it's very black and glossy. A brand new tube is very wet, so it lasts longer without drying up. The shape of the tube feels great, as well as it's looks. Does everything but curl lashes

Gave me gorgeous lashes
I got this in a mini tube trial because my mom bought some Lancome cosmetics and it came with a free gift and since she doesn't use mascara, she gave this to me. This looked slightly clumpy at first, but lengthens and volumizes my lashes like crazy! I have naturally curled, somewhat long lashes but a bit sparse so this really did the trick to fill the gap and made them look fabulous. Not the greatest but not horrible
The brush in this mascara is kind of small and I like big brushes, so I thought I wouldn't like it. But I was surprised by how well it separates the lashes while giving natural-looking volume. 2 big cons: it can clump after the second coat, and I noticed little flakes from it on my face, which I've never experienced with any mascara before. Beautiful for Sensitive Eyes
Many mascaras leave my eyes watering like crazy, but not this one. I love the brown color; it looks more natural on me. This mascara gives me volume AND length, with no clumping or flaking. One of the best mascaras ever
Lancome, you have my heart. Or at least my eyelashes. Lancome-Hypnose-Mascara-Black goes on like a dream, no flakes, no clumps. You control the volume, from a single coat to full on eyelash falsies look. This is one of their most popular products in general, and it's easy to see why.
