Clinique Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick Reviews

Bamboo Pink
I really like this lip stick, it isn't super glossy but isn't matte or drying either. Reminds me a little bit of a more pigmented chubby stick. I have found this colour to be semi long lasting, it doesn't all come one in one go but it does after a little lip wear and needs reapplication. I don't mind reapplying however as I expect most lipsticks to budge. However I will say it does not vanish or travel on it's own, it really does stay put and doesn't end up creeping to lines around the lips or to your teeth. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Soft & light, but it is there
I like the smooth and soft texture. I sometimes forget that I used this lipstick because it is very light and creamy but does not have that cakey look. I am also satisfied with their color selection, especially the nudes. It gives shine too, but not as shiny as gloss. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than but this lipstick lasts long and I don't have re-apply as often as some cheap drugstore brands. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Creamy color
This lipstick has a bit more color that lasts. I have the Almost Lipstick (Black Honey) and the Colour Surge (Perfect Plum) and these are great and moisturizing but for a bit more color that lasts, I'd go for the Long Last in Black Violet. I went to lunch after putting this on, and the color really did stay. I used a straw and a fork for my water and salad so it may be different with a sandwich, but I really like this lipstick. For me, it's one of the best. And no funky smells or tastes either! — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Keeps promises
This lipstick is long lasting, moist, and has a little bit of shine. It does not feather or smudge for a cream lipstick. Colors are great--I love Black Lily (deceptively reddish color), bamboo pink, and twilight nude. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

One of the Best Lipsticks Out There!
I love this lipstick. The formula definitely lasts longer than regular lipsticks and is not as drying as the longwearing lip products. Also, they make a shade for everyone! I have about 10 shades but my current favorite for Fall 2010 is Tilight Nude, which is a sheer, berry-nude shade. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

A staple in my makeup arsenal
I've been purchasing this lipstick in Blushing Nude for almost a decade. I love it because the color is bright even though it's a nude shade. The formula is soft, creamy, and has a slight shine when first applied, making it a good choice for dry lips. The color does last a long time, but Clinique's claim that it looks "just applied" for hours isn't true. The color lasts for hours, but as a muted version of itself. My only other gripe is with the packaging: the cap is a bit loose so it often falls off in my purse. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

not impressed
I don't like lipstick like this for a few reasons, they feel terrible going on because they aren't moisturizing enough, they make your lips feel super dry, if you put it on your lips without a light application of lip balm it makes your lips look horrible because it magnifies the dry lips. It's just not moisturizing and it's also dehydrating. — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Not long lasting, an okay lipstick
This lipstick isn't what I'd call long wearing. It doesn't last any longer than an ordinary lipstick. However, the color is true and it doesn't smear or clump. It applies evenly and fades evenly. It does have a soft shine finish but that fades fast. Overall it's just an average lipstick. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Feels Nice
The formula of this product is nice. It feels good & looks good on the lips; it seems to moisturize a bit so you won't get a cakey look. The lasting power is pretty good but honestly, drugstore brand lipsticks are putting out some nice long lasting colors out now. The other thing that lowers the rating is a pretty small color selection. I love finding new, interesting colors to play with but there's not much to explore. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

bamboo pink and watermelon
I really like the formula of this product. No fragrance or flavor, doesn't dry out my lips, lasts a decent amount of time, doesn't test on animals.....but the color "bamboo pink" is awkward. It's really more of a purple-y brown than a pink, and if feels like a slightly aging color. Also, the packaging is kind of ugly. HOWEVER, "watermelon" is awesome. such a pretty bright pink, and my favorite summer lip color. soooo, my overall rating is positive. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
