  I have long loved cream blushes. They are versatile, super blendable, and wear incredibly well. They also tend not to look “fake” or cakey on your cheeks. After all, if you wear blush, you are looking for color, a super-stack of pancake makeup. Lancome’s newest offering is Color Design Blush. Pretty pots of cream blu...shes that are really quite addicting. Since I’ve tried Freeze Frame (a light pinky-bronze shimmer) three weeks ago, I haven’t left the house without it! The color is absolutely amazing. Makes me look all pretty and dewy! I am also fond of the Retro Rouge (a rich matte red) and Chic Cassis (a dark mocha berry) for evenings or parties. I’ve had no adverse reactions on my (very) sensitive skin while using these blushes. Just be careful to apply a little, blend, then if you want more color, add a little more on top. I’ve been wearing the Freeze Frame on the front circles of my cheeks and blending it outward in all directions. It makes for a much fresher look that the old way of blending up and into your temples/hairline. Lancome’s cream blushes are available in seven shades from light neutrals (Model Mocha and Creme Couture), Pinks and Berries (Petticoat Pink, Pret a Plum, and Chic Cassis) to Reds and Corals (Freeze Frame and Retro Rouge). The pigments are saturated and you only need to apply a teensy bit. So, even though they seem a tad pricey initially, the little pots will last you 6 months or longer! November 4, 2008, 7:29 am

  A good choice for cream blush

  I bought this blush in Petticoat Pink. Lancôme classifies this one as sheer. I apply over my liquid foundation. This blush doesn't sink into pores causing little dots of color like some cream blushes do. It lasts all day for me. I really like the nice pink flush this color gives (pink cheeks are in -- according to the late...st Allure magazine!) Naturally, I would love a cheaper price, but a tiny amount of Lancôme's color design blush goes a long way. I have used several times and have barely made a dent in the product.   i went to lancome to get the magique blush that was so high rated on this site but fell in love with this one. i tried it on and while walking around the mall 2 people complimented me on it. it stays on me all day. i use petticoat pink :) March 11, 2009, 10:21 pm

  Very Good Product

  This product is flat-out wonderful. I have it in a sheer gold color and it is super easy to apply (I use my fingers, a sponge I am afraid would scoop too much off) Yes, it is a cream blush. It lasts reasonably long--Maybe 4-5 hrs? The gold color is perfect for a light glow--Beautiful! I bought it at TJ Maxx for $8 so it was... reasonably cheaper than buying it from somewhere else, and it DEFINITELY was a fantastic value. No qualms with this product! December 2, 2008, 7:42 am
