    Ok for the beach...maybe

But don't try this as an everyday sunblock under makeup! It is thick and makes you white as a ghost. Maybe I used to much but it took forever to soak in.

    Great for my sensitive eyes

I actually have the SPF 60 Purescreen rather than the SPF 30, but TotalBeauty doesn't have that one up yet. Now I like chemical sunscreens in most regards. For most of my face and my body they work just fine, but I absolutely cannot have a chemical sunscreen within an inch of my eyes or they BURN. To test this I piled this stuff on around my eyes, right up to the very edge of my waterlines. WI...read moreth a chemical block my eyes would have been burning and watering by that point, but I had zero issue with this stuff! Like any physical SPF this does take a bit more effort to blend it into the skin, but the lack of irritation is so worth it. I am still using y Aveeno Continuous Protection block on the rest of my face (at least until I run out,) but this is now my "eye-screen." Now to convince cosmetic companies to stop putting chemical SPF in all foundations . . . but I digress.

    Yelch!

PROS: did not irritate skin CONS: It's hard to rub into skin. Absorbs about as easily as Jell-O Leaves a white residue on the skin Comes off easily with just water, sweat, etc STINKS! No smell out of the bottle, but once on the skin, it smells like fermented feet

It lasts! (referencing the 60+ formula)

Living in Southeast Texas, the heavy sunscreen gets busted out by the end of February. After trying other Neutrogena sunscreens and being disappointed in the redness and irritation they caused, I was a bit hesitant to try the "sensitive skin formula". This is my new fave, hands down. It blends in pretty well (although my skin is a bit on the fair side), and the usual red cheeks I get (...read morebeing out on a sunny day over 65 degrees) were nowhere to be found. The formula lasted a good three hours before I thought it might be time for a reapply, even with mild perspiration. Cons? It's a bit heavy feeling, and I needed to bust out a baby wipe to clean my hands off. I did get a small bump under my chin, but that's a small price to pay for not looking like a lobster after 20 minutes in the sun!

    A must for sensitive skin!

I have very sensitive skin. Most sunscreens cause the skin around my eyes to sting. Even if I apply it far away from my eyes. This product is the only one I've found that doesn't do this. I never get sunburned when I where this. It is $8-12 and the bottle is small. I use a cheaper sunscreen for the rest of my body and only use this on my face. I love this stuff!

Good, but can leave skin oily

This is a great product for someone with dry and sensitive skin, but for people who tend to be oily I have found that it adds to that problem!
