great basic cleaner
i use this to remove makeup after a long day. it does not leave my skin dry, it washes dirt, it lathers very nicely, and it even clears up acne. i think because it unclogs pores, it clears up acne too. it has no parabens which is great! i recommend this!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Dries My Skin Out
I really wanted to love this product after hearing so many good things about Neutrogena, but this didn't meet my (rather high) expectations. First, the packaging and the texture and scent of the product are all very nice. The bottle is very sturdy (so no worries if you drop it in the shower), and the scent is very clean. The cleanser lathered really well to produce a luxuriously thick and fragrant...read more foam, but it really dried out my skin. My skin was so dry that not even my Shiseido night cream could provide relief. Very boring cleanser.
This is alright if all you need is to get your face clean. It doesn't remove makeup too well, and it doesn't do anything for acne or oil besides removing oil initially. Also, it dries out my face a bit. The smell is nothing to write home about, but it's very reasonably priced. Love it!
This product is absolutely amazing. I use it to remove my makeup and clean my pores almost every night. Even when I wear a ton of foundation this does a great job of removing it all! When my sink is plugged the water actually turns the colour of my foundation. Before I started using this I found that nothing took off all of my foundation. I rub it on and it is a nice lather. It does take a couple ...read moreof rinses to get all of it off though. The only reason why I only gave it a nine is that my skin does feel a tiny bit dry and tight after (I do have dry skin though so it might not be this). I use a moisturizer and my skin feels normal again. I only bought this a couple of months ago and it has become my holy grail of cleansers. I no longer use any other of my gazillion cleansers. cleans my face
It cleans without any bad effects. That may not sound special, but it kind of is. I can use this every morning in the shower and my skin doesn't dry out, nor does it feel not clean enough. Need It
