great basic cleaner

doesnt take off my make up!!!
I really want to like this product but I just cannot. It does not do a good job of taking of my make up. Very boring cleanser.
This is alright if all you need is to get your face clean. It doesn't remove makeup too well, and it doesn't do anything for acne or oil besides removing oil initially. Also, it dries out my face a bit. The smell is nothing to write home about, but it's very reasonably priced. Love it!
This product is absolutely amazing. I use it to remove my makeup and clean my pores almost every night. Even when I wear a ton of foundation this does a great job of removing it all! When my sink is plugged the water actually turns the colour of my foundation. Before I started using this I found that nothing took off all of my foundation. I rub it on and it is a nice lather. It does take a couple of rinses to get all of it off though. The only reason why I only gave it a nine is that my skin does feel a tiny bit dry and tight after (I do have dry skin though so it might not be this). I use a moisturizer and my skin feels normal again. I only bought this a couple of months ago and it has become my holy grail of cleansers. I no longer use any other of my gazillion cleansers. cleans my face
It cleans without any bad effects. That may not sound special, but it kind of is. I can use this every morning in the shower and my skin doesn't dry out, nor does it feel not clean enough. Need It

Not for me
I usually have very oily skin and l like to use "deep cleaning" products. I like Neutrogena shampoos, body washes, lotions..so I thought I would try this. Big mistake. I thought since I had oily skin I could use it twice a day like I do any face wash. But now.. I am thinking that it is too harsh for that. I didn't break out, but it took all the moisture out of my face (unusual for me) and left my skin feeling scaley and bumpy. This is the second Neutrogena facial product that has done this to me. I guess there is just something in Neutrogena that does not "mingle" well with my skin. However, I do love their facial sunscreens. No probems there. I wouldn't know who to recommend this product for. I thought it would be great for me.
