  I bought this as a clarifying shampoo since I use a lot of product in my coarse hair. It doesn't have SLS so it was a good option and it works well. I only use it once every 2 weeks. However, I recenlty learned that this line is owned by Loreal and I am on a personal boycott of all Loreal products in light of their recent...   Good for the gunk!

  This shampoo is excellent for getting the gunk and goo buildup out of your hair. However, I don't recommend it for everyday use. I've found that daily use can strip the oils from your hair and scalp. It's great for balancing hair after braids, weaves, or use of a lot of hair products. December 4, 2007, 6:04 pm
