Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick Reviews

Nice product but overpriced
This is a pretty nice moisturizing lip protectant stick. It glides on very smooth, feels moisturizing, leaves lips very soft and supple. It also can be used as a clear gloss- it adds nice sheer, non-sticky gloss to lips. Very natural and pretty. The tube is well-designed, nice to look at and nice to use. High quality packaging and product. And now to cons. First of all, the smell is quite strong and off-putting (it is the same as original 8 hour cream). Secondly, the price is fairly high for something that's essentially a chapstick. There are cheaper equally good and less smelly products. Will not repurchase. — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Gifts With Purchase...
Elizabeth Arden's website gives some awesome gifts with purchases. This is the only reason to buy the Lip Protectant, for the GWP. Otherwise save yourself $15 and buy a chapstick. The product feels good when you put it on but doesn't last on the lips long. It also has an odd smell and a strange taste. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

wonderful product!
I had a spot on my lip, that just would not heal up because it was so very dry. I got a tube of this in a GWP from EA. It helped in less than 2 days, and the spot has NOT come back! Nothing else I tried was working! I will DEFINATELY purchase this when it is gone. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

great balm
i bought this is the vintage tin for their anniversary!! a real treat for sure...this works good for dry lips, i use it daily throughout the day and it seems to keep on for a little while but easily dissapears whenever eating and drinking...not like my beloved blue blistex medicated balm...which stays on forever... i will probably not buy this again but i dont not like it...just wasnt as great as everyone says it is. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A little overpriced for a balm
I got this stick in the cute, retro packaging. It goes on effortlessly, which is great - no waxy difficult-to-apply balm here! The slightly herbal/spicy smell takes getting used to if you're the kind of girl who likes fruity flavoured glosses and balms. I love the original 8 hour cream, and use it daily. Although I do love this balm I have found that Burt's Bees balms offer the same moisture, at a much better price. — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fabulous color, feel & scent
This is one of the VERY few products I have bought more than once. Great color and SPF coverage and I love the smell. I wear it to work and when out kayaking! Tried Clinique Black Honey that everyone is raving about and this is sooo much better. Berry is my color! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

My epitaph will no longer say death due to chapped lips!
I think this is just the best thing since sliced bread. The EA 8 hour lip protectant stick is never out of my reach. It is the ONLY product that I have found to really work on dry lips and to keep on working. It is my constant companion and my lips no longer look like the Sahara desert! Woo HOO! — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
