Volume? Yes. Control and long-lasting shine? Not so much. Fine hair does look thicker, but like every product in the Body Full line, not much love is given to dry hair. The liquid gel "treat" dispenses from a pump and works like mousse to prep hair for styling. Polymers supposedly help retain style, but don't substitute for hairspray or gel. Though strands feel stronger, they aren't immune to frizz or tangle. (Then again, that's why they make conditioner.)

Does nothing for fine hair

I have fine thin straight hair and this product does absolutely nothing. I actually threw it away after going through a third of the bottle with the hopes that it might work.
