Volume? Yes. Control and long-lasting shine? Not so much. Fine hair does look thicker, but like every product in the Body Full line, not much love is given to dry hair. The liquid gel "treat" dispenses from a pump and works like mousse to prep hair for styling. Polymers supposedly help retain style, but don't substitute for hairspray or gel. Though strands feel stronger, they aren't immune to frizz or tangle. (Then again, that's why they make conditioner.)

      I really don't like this product. It is very sticky and hard to wash off your hands. Also if I put it on my hair while it's damp and don't blow dry it, it makes my hair stiff wherever I've placed it. Any body you might see from it when you apply it, is gone within a few hours and then your hair looks oily at the roots. ...I think you get better lasting body from a mousse for volumizing than you do with this. The only plus would maybe be the smell. February 8, 2008, 3:30 am

      Good for moderate thickening ONLY

      I use this and I have very fine hair. I find it does thicken but I still have to use a volumizer at the roots and hairspray to hold.... but it really is targeted for thickening, so I guess it does what it's supposed to! February 22, 2008, 11:26 am

      Something about Redkin annoys me. Most of their products are overhyped and under valued. This is no different. There are a lot better products than this, June 16, 2008, 3:51 pm
