I had a really bad reaction to some kind of detergent where my arms broke out in hives and itched like crazy. I used this bath and it took the itch away, then made a paste out of one of the packets and smeared it on, the hives were gone in a matter of hours! Oatmeal bath

Many years ago I was even stupider because I did not bother to use sunscreen. My skin got red and itchy and even some parts were peeling after sunbathing. It was a bit painful to take a warm shower. That was the reason my friend picked this box of Aveeno Anti-itch Bath Treatment for me. My skin redness did not go away completely, but definitely reduced, and more importantly it relieved itchiness. I was not too crazy about the oatmeal scent, but the smell was not too intense. BTW, I also tried Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment when I got skin hives a few years back, and it worked as good as this one. — 1 month, 1 week ago

A Lifesaver!

I recently woke up with hives covering my whole body! After trying numerous creams, medications, etc and having none of them help with the unrelenting itch, I tried the Aveeno anti-itch bath treatment. The 1st thing I liked was the ease of use, simply open the package and put it in your bath water. The 2nd thing I liked was that it worked right away! After days of agony from hives, being in the Aveeno filled bath was the first relief I felt in days. It was like heaven and I didn't want to jump off a 30 story building anymore just to be able to stop itching. I stayed in the water until it was so cold that I was shivering because I was afraid that as soon as I got out, it would stop working. But it didn't!! My skin was actually calmed for a couple of hours so I could finally get some much needed sleep. This product was a real lifesaver for me and I'll make sure that I always have some on hand just in case I ever get the hives again. Thank you Aveeno! — 1 month, 1 week ago

Relaxing

soothes hives and weather worn skin

i went through a period in my life where i was having extreme sensitivity to food. i would break out in hives from the bottoms of my feet to my scalp! it was PAINFULLY itchy. this product was a lifesaver. it was wonderfully soothing to be able to soak my whole body in this! since then i like to use this in the winter or summer when my skin is especially dry. it also feels nice in a lukewarm tub when you have a sunburn. so gentle, not irritating, helps the itch! — 3 years, 11 months ago

Works at least for a little while

This was the only product that gave my daughter relief when she had chicken pox. The problem? It does not last very long after the bath. If I left her in the bath all day she would be fine, but otherwise, I had to soak her many times during the day. — 4 years, 1 month ago

This product was over rated

I thought this product definatly was overrated. I have horrible eccema and its sapposed to really relieve the itchy scaley dry skin that is caused by eccema and it really didnt do anything more then a nice inexpensive lotion would have done. — 4 years, 1 month ago

I had a horrible allergic reaction to this stuff when I was younger. On top of having Chicken Pox, I also ended up with hives. So it really didn't make things any better. Not everyone will have an allergic reaction, but its possible. — 4 years, 2 months ago
