Glass for gloss shine
Glass 01 looks like hair gel, but it feels more like thick serum. It definitely adds my hair shine, but thankfully not grease. After I towel-dry my hair, I use a few drops of this product on the lengths and ends only. If I use too much, my hair looks/feels oily and also it would wear my hair down a bit. It is less stickier than John Frieda Leave On Perfecting Glosser. This stuff is clearly more expensive than drugstore brands, but at least this bottle lasts for a long time! It does not repair my damaged hair (of course not! ;)), but it sure does make my hair look more straighten, relaxed and very shiny! — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 9 people said helpful

Don't waste your money!
This product is very thin, doesn't make that big a difference, and it's overpriced. If you want a smoothing serum, try any Frizz Ease version for a good 50% savings and a supremely better product. — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Gloss for Standout Hair
My hair stylist used this on me and made me love the product. I actually had to have it because of the amazing shine that my hair got with this product. Z (my stylist) told me to make sure that I only used a little as it could make my hair, or anyone's hair, look greasy. It really does give the most beautiful glassy shine to hair, kind of like when the sun hits the glass. Use this at the end of your styling routine, and make sure you are not going to be using any more heat styling appliances. It can make the gloss lose its shine. I would recommend about 3-4 drops (not quarter sized or anything else), just drops for short to chin length hair and 5-8 drops for medium to long hair. Make sure you are paying attention to the size of the drops; you really don't need a lot to make your hair shine! — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

Redken Glass
Can be heavy. If so adjust the amount used. Works well on my dry ends in between trims. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Redken Glass
This works beautifully but not on everyone. It is quite thick & can weigh down hair even if you only use a small amount so if you have fine hair then this is not for you. This is really more for girls with coarser hair. — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

There Are Better
If you are going to use a serum, then I'm thinking that you are looking for something with a little more weight to it...so this isn't your serum. This is a VERY lightweight serum, that does add a great amount of shine....but kind of doesn't last and just doesn't have the right consistency. If it's the lightness that you like, then use a shine spray (much less messy) like TIGI Bed Head's Headrush...but if it's oil part that you like then use MoroccanOil. Now if you are using this because you think it protects your hair in some way while adding shine, then just go for John Frieda Frizz-ease which comes in a light version also. This just isn't worth the price or effort when there are better items out there that get the job done. — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Works but it's heavy
This really does make your hair super shiny, but beware, it is only for very coarse hair. It is very heavy and will weigh anyone elses hair down. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Loved it at first, now not so much
I liked this a lot at first, but now I really don't like the consistency of the product, the way it smells and feels like a grease ball in my hands, and it does weigh my hair down without any noticeable improvement in shine. I think it could be great for some people, but it does not work for my hair. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Redken Glass
I absolutely love this product. Just a little of it goes a long way. It makes your hair look sleek and smooth, and gives it an incredible shine. I know it is a bit more expensive than drugstore smoothing serums, but it is well worth it. I have found that with other products, my hair is left looking greasy by the end of the day. With Redken, my hair stays perfect all day long. When using the product, you can't use more than a few drops in your hair or it will look greasy, just like with any serum. I highly recommend this product, you'll love it. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Amazing product. Best serum out there.
I got this product from a friend who wasn't using it that much so she gave it to me. Not expecting much, just thinking it was just an ordinary hair serum, the first time I used it I was amazed. I love using a flat iron and apply this to people's hair after. It gives great shine and gloss and makes hair feel like silk. No, it is not a cheap product, but you really don't have to use a lot ( 2-3 drops) and it will last you for a long time. I have had it for about 3 months and still have more than 3/4's of the bottle left. Definitely purchase this if you are looking for a great serum! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful
