Great for Oily Skin
This product works great when used only a few times a week. Otherwise, it will dry out even the most oily of skin. It isn't a necessity, but I do like to use it when I see a breakout on the horizon. Clean & Clear Terrible

Very Clear
Like it Like it. Yes it is strong but when you use a product like this you need strong. Maybe not a good idea for really sensitive skin but the sting is minor and does not last long. It reduces my pores and makes me feel super clean-also works on and prevents breakouts big time. Don't love the smell but that is pretty minor when it works this well. Great for acne! Not so much for dry skin!
I used to swear by this for acne and it definitely helps clear up blemishes. Although I recently repurchased it and noticed that it dried my skin out a bit. Nothing major or drastic. I would recommend for dry skin not using this on a day to day basis. If you"re having breakouts this is often but maybe only use it when you have to, like a spot treatment! Pretty good, but not perfect.
I have moderate teenage acne (lucky me, I know :D) and have been looking for a while for a toner/astringent that will help with my acne, oily skin, and blackheads. This seems to help with acne, but because of its high alcohol content, it's actually increased my oil production, and hasn't reduced any blackheads. GREAT FOR THE UNDER ARMS.
Although this is meant for the face, I heard astringents are good for underarms as well. It works to even the skin tone of the arm pits, & even cleans out all the dead skin cells. WOW!
Maybe this just wasn't for me, but I was completely unprepared for this product. Applying it felt like pouring Listerine mouthwash into an open wound, really. Sometimes I really couldn't stand it and started rubbing my skin with ice cubes in an attempt to numb the pain. In further explanation, I didn't pour this on my face or bathe in it or anything of the sort- I dabbed some onto a cotton ball or...read more other cloth and used that on my face. If you've got any tiny cuts on your face or fingers, this product will be sure to find them for you! Many have said that it is drying and they're partially right, considering that this toner does rid your face of practically all oil and dirt. You NEED to moisturize after using this product to prevent that dryness, I promise it makes a difference. As for the actual toner, once I got past the pain, it wasn't so bad. What you see is what you get, a really deep clean that can be too strong for some; I felt that it did help clear up my broken-out skin. I get small under-the-skin spots on one side of my face and this toner cleared all of those right up! I won't repurchase this because Clean and Clear tests on animals, though, and I can't even imagine how painful that must be! However, I will be finishing out the other two bottles of this toner that I have. UPDATE: I've noticed that the skin on my fingers is peeling where this toner has touched it :/ I'm surprised that a skin product is allowed to have such harsh effects!
