Drying
volta (516 reviews)This left me with dry, flaky skin. I have combination skin and it was over-drying, even on my t-zone. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

ok
Bon_Bon (454 reviews)Alright this ROCKS as an astringent, it really works wonders on my skin (and also if you've been cursed with cold sores like I have it works for that too even though I'm sure that's not it's true purpose). The only problem is that it REALLY burns your eyes! Be careful and I would suggest closing your eyes before using it. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Clean Skin
Stef42678 (479 reviews)This astigent works really well at cleaning out your pores and preventing breakouts. The smell is light and it stings a little on your skin, but the ingredients are great at fighting breakouts. I use this a lot, and it is good on my skin to help keep it clean. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Gah!!! That Burns!
Starluxe (298 reviews)One word. Caustic. This formula is an astringent meaning that it contains more alcohol than a toner does and my sensitive skin turned bright red after using this. Two days later, my skin began to flake and peel immensely that I couldn't conceal any patches of dried skin. It was a terrible feeling and sight that my skin was shedding and it overdried my oily skin which means this is too harsh. If you have any acne or broken skin, this will painfully aggravate your skin as it is not gentle at all. I also found the scent of the formula very much similar to an old stocked medicine cabinet. Don't damage your skin by saturating and drying it with alcohol, stick to something that contains less of alcohol and more gentle ingredients. I'd steer clear of important events if I were anyone trying this out the first time as it makes skin look uncontrolled. Don't put it near my skin! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 15 people said helpful

not for even somewhat-sensitive skin
Miss_Vicki (253 reviews)This is best for those with moderate-to-severe acne or those with very oily skin. It was too strong for my occasional acne. This felt like it was killing the skin on my face. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Warning - VERY Drying!
ModernDayWriter (196 reviews)The alcohol content is pretty high in this toner, so it'll dry the life out of your skin! I used to use this LIBERALLY as a teenager on my formerly oily skin (I obviously didn't know any better, since drying out your skin only makes it produce more oil faster!!!!). It works fast to get rid of pimples and sops up oil temporarily, but the long term pay-off is flaky, dry and tight skin. No adult should be using this! And I'd be hesitant to recommend this to teenagers too. Clean & Clear has a version for sensitive skin with less alcohol, so that may be a better alternative. The smell is a little weird too, slightly medicinal. May be an issue for daytime use. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Too harsh
chanceuxlilas (322 reviews)Even for my acne-prone complexion, this astrigent is way too harsh and I'm thinking that it might have to do with the immense amout of peppermint and fragrance added. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
