Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Reviews

I hate cream shows and this product confirmed it.
CaroleVonAllten (1154 reviews)Cream shadows do not last, don't stay put and crease, making them look sloppy. Have to constantly blend with finger again and again — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

6.5! You have to be kidding!
aly7 (385 reviews)I got these in Moonit Jewels, and they are AMAZING! No complaint! They are crease proof, vibrant, and cheap. I use my finger or a concealer brush to put them on:) — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Kind of a Mess
TheLacqueredLady (588 reviews)I really wanted to love these shadows. I tried them in high school when they first came out, and thought I would try them again. I didn't like them then, and I don't like them now. The colors look great in the pot, but when you get them on the skin, they aren't very pigmented. Like all cream shadows I have tried, they tend to clump in the crease and simply don't last. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Creamy
CliniqueLover (265 reviews)I purchased this in Not Just Nudes and like the creamy consistency and the sheer colours. It gives my lids a bronzy but natural look. Personally I think it should be less expensive (I paid $11) for what you get but other than that it's pretty good. If you have oily lids like me it will fade but I just use my UD Eyelid Primer Potion and it doesn't budge until I take it off at night with my eyemakeup remover. Overall a nice creamy shadow, just wished it didn't cost so much. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Ok but...
darkangel81 (289 reviews)I seriously need to prep my lids because they are oily, and if I don't, then it creases up. the colors are nice, but I think i need to stick to powder shadows. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

12 Best Eye Shadows -
Not for oily lids
MakeupGuru (424 reviews)This creamy eyeshadow has very nice color selections, but creases badly on normal to oily lids. I recommend this only for dry skin types. I tried to set it with powder, but it still creased. I used shadow primer, but still creased after a few hours. Also, having to apply this with my finger doesn't give me the precision I need, as well as having to wash it afterwards, and you can't use a brush or sponge tip applicator with this. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Leave it on the shelf
sweettpea29 (205 reviews)I tried using several of the palettes that are available, but the shadows just did not stay put. The colors might be very nice for a drugstore brand, but it reminds me of how far behind drugstore brands are when it comes to eyeshadow colors. I wish I could say that these were the best and that I loved them, but I would be lying. I really disliked how the shadow creased and then disappeared over time. Looking back, I wonder if I would have used a primer, if the shadow would have stayed put. Maybe if Revlon changed the formula, I might try it again. However, I rarely wear cream shadows now because these taught me a very important lesson. Cream shadows and my eyelids do not go together. I did give the product 3 stars because the company tried to put colors together that we sometimes see in even the most expensive palettes. — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Easy to apply and great colors
beautyguru_24_7 (273 reviews)I have the set of brown shades and I always get complimented when I wear them. They have a pearlescence and really draw attention to your eyes. The cream consistency makes them super easy to apply and it only takes a minute to put it on and you don't have to be super careful. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sheer color
radar626 (318 reviews)I just got this in Copper Canyon and I really like how sheer and blendable the colors are. I can make them more intense by adding on more after each application dries to get as much or as little color as I want, which is perfect for those lazy weekend trips to Starbucks for coffee. I really wish there was an applicator. Easy to remove, makes a great base for other colors, and has good no-crease staying power if you let it dry inbetween applications. Biggest problem? NO applicator. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
