bought this for my hubby
by corizotti (538 reviews)Top 10 ReviewerTrusted Reviewhes sensitive like me, and ive always used aveeno products when my skin was having particular problems. it was reccomended to me buy a male customer at the beauty shop where i worked and he said it kept his sensitive skin from getting red or bumpy after he shaved. so i gave it to my love to try, and he loves it! no more raz...or irritation for him at all, and he doesnt have any trouble with ingrown hairs on his neck afterwards anymore either. the foam is really thick and lush, and leave his skin sooo soft and gives him a closer smoother shave. its just perfect!~ April 29, 2008, 8:36 pm5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

An excellent shave gel
by zernelle (130 reviews)Top 100 ReviewerTrusted ReviewThis is my favorite shave gel. Well, actually, I like the Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel too (with the dark blue cap), and I don't see a noticeable difference between the Ultra-Calming and the Therapeutic. They're both fragrance-free and are thick and seem to last longer than a can of other drugstore shave gels. But the Ultra...-Calming claims to have feverfew to reduce redness (feverfew reduces my migraines, I'm not sure about redness, though) and a higher concentration of aloe. My husband likes this shave gel too for his sensitive face, and I love it when we can use the same product--fewer items to pack when we travel. Overall, I recommend this product and plan to repurchase. Ingredients: water, palmitic acid, triethanolamine, methyl gluceth-20, sorbitan stearate, isopentane, sorbitol, stearic acid, feverfew extract, oat kernel flour, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, sunflower seed oil glyceride, allantoin, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, glycerin, isobutane, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone, PEG-8 benzoate, hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparaben, hydrxoylpropyl methylcellulose, ethylparaben, propylparaben, benzaldehyde. Real Help for Sensitive Skin
by sashafoo (5 reviews)So many products out there claim to be good for sensitive skin, but I have found precious few that live up to the hype. This is now the only shave cream I will use. No more redness. No more bumps. No more nicks. There's no cloying scent and the texture is light and smooth. Please never stop making this product. Best Shave Gel Ever
by marta100 (33 reviews)Total Beauty BloggerLove this shave gel by Aveeno. It does it all, it protects my skin from cuts and leaves it smooth and silky. Best part it doesn't contain perfumes that can irritate your skin or smell bad. It is a staple in my bathroom:) September 14, 2008, 3:09 pm1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
