Tarte Natural Cheek Stain Reviews

Oh Tarte, You Makes Me Blush!
While Tarte's "Amazonian Clay Powder Blush" is a hit with me, sometimes I prefer a more dewy look. Tarte created a COMPLETE WINNER with this stain in a highly portable tube! Available in a number of wildly flattering shades (from warm peachy-pink to deep plum to watermelon, some delightfully scented), it leaves enough of a glow to make you look like you're just been complimented, have fallen in love, or completed a stroll in the brisk winter air. This product is alcohol-, paraben-, sulfate-, and phthalate-free (so relax, you're not harming your precious skin in any manner). Better yet, there are five active anti-oxidant super-fruits to treat your complexion while enhancing it: Goji, Acai, Maracuja, Acelora, and Pomegranate. Their are no oils to clog pores or cause breakouts. The pigments are derived from minerals known to soothe and soften. Because color goes on softly, you decide just how much depth you want. Coverage is buildable. While you're at it, swipe some on your lips for a complementary look. Thirty dollars may seem steep for a cheek (and lip) stain, but it lasts a long time. And it will stay put on your face for hours! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Tarte Cheek Stain
This will last forever. A little bit goes a long way. It is very moisturizing, but it stays put. You could also use it on your lips. Good choice of colors that last. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

I love this cheek stain.
It is true to its color in the container, goes on with sponge, fingers or simply applying it directly to your face. Blends well, too. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Good for dry skinned gals
I own this in a few colors. They're nice but not very pigmented (I'm light-med skin tone and it takes a bit to get it to show up). It's best to apply it by rubbing your fingers onto the product and gently tapping your fingers onto your cheeks. Each color has a slightly different scent. The packaging and product can be a little messy. The stain doesn't sink into skin that well--it can leave a slightly sticky feel. Would I buy it again? Probably not. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 13 of 13 people said helpful

true love and tipsy
The colors are always rich and vibrant- ranging in sheerness. The stain gives you about10 seconds for blenging time- then it is on for the day. Plus, peach scented! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Not for my oily skin
The coral-pink color of "A Perfect Whirled Cheek Stain" gives my cheeks a nice "sun-kissed" effect, but it adds unwanted shine too. Also, it is not very easy to blend with my foundation (liquid and powder). When I rub it on, it smears my foundation. Either it is too difficult to use with other makeup, or I am too stupid to use this. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 11 people said helpful

Best Blush I Own
I have blushes from MAC, Sephora, Benefit, E.L.F, NARS... I am a blushaholic you could say! I finally broke down and purchased a couple of stains because of the rave reviews. My first was Liptini in Maraschino Cherry. It is a super deep red that looks great on the lips but quite clowny on the cheeks. I decided to give stains one more shot and purchased Tarte's in Dollface. I could NOT be happier that I did! It seems super expensive for 1 oz on product but this stuff will last a LOOOONG time because all you need is a little to have that perfect post-0rgasmic flush! It is long lasting and smells like berries and cream. This is the most natural looking make up you can get. There is a huge variety of colors and I cannot wait to try the peachy color called Tipsy. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful

Not Sticky
When the saleswoman decided to use TIPSY on my cheeks, I was expecting the texture to be sticky and the color, a peachy-coral shade to be off. But it was great! The color looked very natural, blended into my skin and the texture felt like she was running a cool hard surface on my face. It wasn't sticky at all! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful
