Natural, long lasting
I have this in a few shades. I apply it with an angled foundation brush, I swirl the brush over the product apply at the apples and tap it out to blend. Gives a great natural look and more can be added for a deeper color. I work long hours and it lasts all day on my insanely oily skin. Love this product! (but make sure you get it on sale)
I have 2 Tarte cheek stains (dollface and blissful). Dollface works really well on my fair skin, Blissful is a little trickier since it's very orangey-red, but I make it work. They are a dream to blend, either by applying directly or onto a brush, and they last all day. I probably wouldn't recommend this to someone with oily skin because it leaves a dewy sheen that might not be beneficial. I only gave it an 8 because they're so expensive. Great multi-tasker!
This gel-based blush is especially great in the heat/humidity of summer, it adds no oiliness to your skin and doesn't "melt-off"! Dewy Look!! Glow!
I absolutely love and swear by this cheek stain - I have it in a few colors (Tickled, Flushed) and I will say that it glides on beautifully (I have a darker skin tone) and looks absolutely fresh. If you want that dewy, glowing look then go for this item and become addicted...BUT I have two issues: it takes a lot to get it on and make it show up because most of the colors really are sheer washes...so layer, layer, layer unti you are satisfied. The other issue is that I think it rubs off...so the lasting power on this item isn't the greatest..but I expect that is because it moisturizes so well. A GREAT blush if you have dry skin, just keep an eye on it to make sure that it stays on. I love the natural look!
Tarte knows how to do cheek stains not just right, but right on the money! This pretty coral shimmer stain in a push-up stick just ROCKS! It’s lightweight, it doesn’t settle in my pores, and reminds me just a little bit of a famous NARS blush, only in a stain. Simply Gorgeous
I have several shades of this, but I tend to revert to "Natural Beauty," a mix of rose and berry. It's the most natural color I've ever used. Application and wear are a dream. Great blush!!
Wide range of pinks and peaches, from light shades to plum and raspberry. The product takes the shape of a gel stick and looks much darker in the tube than when applied. I will typically take a few swipes with my fingertip then pat it on the apple of my cheek, often layering it on top of powder blush to blend. It gives a very natural, "glow" from within, and doesn't look like actual makeup. It dries quickly and lasts for most of the day. Great for normal to dry skin. Another Hit By Tarte
Like almost every product I have tried by Tarte I was not disappointing at all. The colors are beautiful and go on great and stay on. With anti-oxidants super fruits and no alcohol or sulfates you are doing your skin a favor and should not have any breakouts or skin irritations. there is a nice variety of colors. Ugh.
