At age 30 it started: looser skin under my eyes, crepey texture above. Of the two dozen fixes I've tried, StriVectin-SD performed best at increasing skin plumpness and reducing wrinkles. Our product-testers had similar results (see Our Six-Week Eye Cream Exposé). What's the magic? Peptides and antioxidants increase skin thickness and aid collagen buildup -- same principles as when it hit the market as a stretch mark reducer. The heavy cream may be pore-clogging for some users; those wanting to lighten dark circles should save their money.

    Not working for me

    Maybe this won top honors with editors but I am not happy with this eye cream. I'm 56 & tried so many eye creams but still searching for the one that works. I have all the eye problems-lines, puffiness & circles. This cream is not helping any except some fine lines. At $59, I'm either returning or am now trying ...on my neck area - this may work there.     lots o' chemicals

    I had a horrible allergic reaction to striVectin-SD eye cream. I'm very chemically sensitive, so it really isn't that much of a surprise. I gave it to my husband since I couldn't use it, and he really liked it, (but didn't love it). Plus the packaging isn't gender specific, so he felt comfortable with it in his bathroom.... I'm giving it high marks for how my husband reacted. But the chemically sensitive should really be warned that they should get a tester and do a patch test behind their ear first!     This product has /so many/ ingredients- what could they /all/ possibly do?! And apply it 3 times daily- that's really inconvenient and a bit excessive, no? Well I've tried it religiously and all it seems to do is dry my skin; it made very little difference in my fine lines. May 1, 2008, 7:43 pm

    Finally!

    I've finally found the eye cream that actually keeps the area under my eyes moisturized and doesn't sting! I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but I already see and feel a difference in the tiny lines that I've started to get in the inner undereye area. December 22, 2007, 9:20 pm

    i really like this eye cream. it seemed to lessen the little wrinkles around my eyes and the slight drooping i was starting to see above them too. ok for dryness, sometimes i needed another moisturiser later on after using this one. i think it works tho, and is worth the money and time. stings a bit if you get it IN your ey...e.     Useless

    I was thrilled to find this eye cream in Sephora in Rome 4 years ago, after reading all the hype about the stretch mark cream, which I didn't feel I needed as I have oily skin and my face is relatively unlined. I actually thought it was reasonably priced for the quantity, it lasted about a year but alas in all that time mad...e no difference whatsoever to the lines around my eyes. November 2, 2008, 8:59 am
