Dressing your lashes with a creamy, off-white negligee sounds sexy until these "skivvies" start to flake off. I applaud this primer's partially recycled packaging and average-sized, easy-to-use design. But the formula falls short of expectations. It goes on smoothly and seems to boost lash length, but doesn't add much volume. Once mascara goes on, it begins to flake -- a nightmare for contact-lens wearers.

Works to make fuller lashes

I like the Lancome primer for lashes for building length, but I have to say that this one by Origins does a much better job of giving me (at least) more volume in my lashes. It's also much less clumpy than any other lash primer I have ever tried. It goes on a little wet, and works better if you give it a few seconds to "dry" before putting on mascara. I haven't had a problem with flaking as the editor's review mentioned, and actually find that my mascara stays on better for longer when I use this. It adds another step to the routine, but it's worth it.
