Not for dry skin

I found this cleanser to be drying on my already too-dry skin, but what really influenced my rating was not its quality, but its price. I appreciate how effective and no-frills this cleanser is, but almost $30.00 for a basic cleaser is just too much.

Offers A Gentle, Yet Thorough Cleansing!

This product is non-irritating. It does a thorough job of removing dirt and grime. And, it doen't strip the skin at all!

I so wish this was not discontinued.

I use to use this all the time for my slightly oily skin. Still trying to find the replacement at Kiehl's. If anyone knows of one, please share!

WHICH Cleanser did they sell you?

Have been a loyal customer of Kiehls for years. But I recently realized they have changed the ingredients on a number of products. Examples: Toner now has castor oil as a major ingredient. Even the "Washable Cleanser" has different ingredients from one size bottle to the next. This is looking a lot like false advertising to me. The product quality, and my loyalty, are toast.

Really cleans the face - a bit drying

I have an oily T-zone, but even this cleanser is a little bit drying for my skin. It really feels like my face is clean after I use it...a bit too clean. It feels like a bit of my natural oils have been striped off. I think this cleanser would be ideal for someone who has oily skin/moderate breakouts.

Great Gentle Face Wash

I have used this for years and a little goes a long way! It's very gentle and has minimized my breakouts since I started using it 7 years ago.

Simple and Reliable

I've used this face wash for years and I love it. It's not too heavily scented, it foams quickly, and it leaves my skin clear and fresh. After a grimy day, a brief 30 second lather and rinse gives me a total reset. And it's a great value: a little goes a long way.
