Great smell, but poor conditioner

As the other reviewers mention, this product smells fantastic (that is why I bought it), but as far as its conditioning properties go, I think it fails miserably. Every time I use it, I end up with less than soft and eventually tangled hair. I had a sample of this awhile back and then bought the full-size bottle just because I loved the smell. This is a very light conditioner. I have color-treated hair and I can use it and it makes my hair soft but doesn't weigh it down at all.
