works great but not aesthetic
As with most Kiehl's original products, this one looks and smells poor. It does work great, but was slightly on oily side and had to rub a lot to get it to sink into my skin. I will use this only in the winter time on my legs so that the smell won't bother me too much. Changed my mind about this product once I was pregnant
I initially gave this lotion a 4 star rating. I didn't appreciate the true moisturizing before. However, now that I'm pregnant, this is the ONLY product that makes my skin stop itching. It soaks right in and keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. This is a pregnancy skin saver. I had the 2 oz sample size up until this point and just ordered the 8 oz bottle and the moisturizing body wash. If your skin is truly 'in need' like mine is right now, this product really does out perform. A high-quality product
I had my doubts about this no-frills lotion, which looks like carpenter's glue and smells a bit like Elmer's. But it won me over after one use. The creamy formula is instantly absorbed and provides long-lasting relief from dry skin. Super rich.
i love the smell and feel of this, sort or like a fluid version of body butter. Some of the Best Stuff Out There
I LOVE this body lotion. When I tried this lotion all other body moisturizers needed not apply. It goes on easily and absorbs well. It has no fragrance to clash with any perfumes, etc. that you might wear. Lasting moisture and comfortable feeling. It keeps my legs and back from itching in the winter. Impressed
I just started using this because I had heard great things about it!! I wanted a lotion that was unscented and very moisturizing without being to thick. This is definitely those things. Although it is a bit pricey, I think it is worth it. LOVE.
I love this product. It soaks in right away. It does not linger on top of your skin. The only reason why I gave 9 is because of the price. It is a little pricey. A bit greasy, but worth it.
I love this lotion. I don't think the smell is awful at all, and I think it does an awesome job of moisturizing my skin. It is greasy when first applied, but once it soaks in, my skin feels so buttery soft! The scent isn't strong to me at all, and I have found that I don't need to use a lot. It's really helped my winter skin! That said, I don't use it as an everyday lotion. I think it's best a few times a week after a shower or bath, and to wait a while before getting dressed to let the lotion fully soak in. Another good use for this lotion is just as a spot treatment for elbows and wherever else gets particularly dry.
