Burt's Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment Reviews

Umm no
I have really fine textured hair, but a ton of it. My hair is considered fine texture but thick, according to my hairdresser. I bought this just to try, and I would honestly prefer to put mayo in my hair. This left my hair so greasy and disgusting, that after two shampoos, I had to use Dawn dish soap to get the rest of the grease out. I emded up giving it away to a friend of mine, who also hated it and had to use dish soap to get the residue out. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 5 people said helpful

Fantastic!!
This smells great and is very rich. It is intended to be a deep conditioning treatment, but I often just use it on dry ends lightly as you would a leave-in conditioner. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

I actually love the smell.
I dont like the way it makes my hair feel, but I'm addicted to the scent. I have very long hair and use it only on the ends. It works okay, but could be improved. — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

be prepared to plug your nose...
if you're not used to natural products, don't try this product. it smells really weird at first and takes a while to get used to. the method that you have to use it made me have to use a shower cap before shampooing, so it was kind or a hassle. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

run away
please do not use this product. i actually have a tube of this stuff in my bathroom right now, and i have stopped using it. it's got an unpleasant, waxy consistency (i'm lost for words), which makes massaging or combing it through your hair difficult. and it did nearly nothing for my hair, except make it smell vaguely "natural". i haven't tried it as a styling aid, but it could actually work because, as i have said, it feels kinda waxy. i'm giving it a 4, because it does get a few points for being 99.33% natural. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful
