These scrubbing grains have made a big difference in how my skin feels and looks. I am a huge believer in exfoliation at least every other day but have had trouble find a gentle enough scrub that actually had some scrub-power behind it. With these grains I can make a scrub out of my current HG cleanser (Jo Malone Avocodo Milk Cleanser). I was a little skeptical about how gentle these beans would actually be but they were not harsh at all. I feel much better about using a scrub so often when I can combine it with a very gentle cleanser. It leaves me with smooth, soft, baby-feeling skin and the difference is visual too. I have combination skin that gets oily but also dry and flakey especially in the winter. I use this at least once a week and it sloughs off all the dead skin! I like that it comes dry so I can make it as rough or gentle as I want. So someone with any skin type can use it! Use more cleanser and less grains for a gentle scrub or vice versa. You can even use just water and the grains! I love this product. I use this once a week and mix with my favorite cleanser. I use on my face, neck and chest area. It really works great without leaving your skin dry and sensitive. My skin always looks so much fresher after. While $40 seems like a lot for this little bottle i have had mine for a long time. You really don't need that much.
