    Not bad

I was Googling around for the best tinted moisturizer and Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer kept coming up. I opted for the oil-free version because I get pretty oily skin as the day progresses. I had high hopes for this product because there are so many raves about it. I found it to be okay. It had good lightweight coverage, which is what I wanted. What I didn't really like was the texture. I found that I had to use regular moisturizer before this tinted moisturizer. If I didn't, my skin would be all flaky. And yes, I routinely exfoliate my skin. I don't know if the regular tinted moisturizer does that. Maybe I shouldn't have gone with the oil-free version. If the word "moisturizer" is on the tube, I expect it to be moisturizing. But it kind of wasn't. It's annoying that I had to do an extra step. I liked how the tinted moisturizer looked on my face but if it's supposed to be a moisturizer, I shouldn't need to apply another moisturizer before I apply this tinted moisturizer! Does that make sense? Anyway, it didn't fully meet my expectations but I'll still use it since I like how it makes my skin look. — 2 years, 7 months ago

    Love it!

I really love this tinted moisturizer. It hasn't broken me out (after 6 months knock on wood) it has a nice consistency to it. It's thicker than moist tinted's I've tried but it spreads easily and has a beautiful luminous finish to it. I have combo skin and it works like a charm for me! — 2 years, 10 months ago

    Best tinted moisturizer EVER!!!

I don't like wearing heavy makeup on a daily basis... so for years I went on a search to find the perfect daily makeup.... last year I came across a review in a beauty magazine.. saying how wonderful.. and great Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer was for all skin types... I went to Sephora... they gave me a sample.. they didn't pressure me to buy anything.. since I was hesitant about my skin reacting in a negative way to something new... I came back a week later... I LOVED the oil free tinted moisturizer.. it's the best thing ever!!! I can't live without it!!! it keeps my skin soft, gives me an even skin tone... and it gives it this glow.. that doesn't require me to wear a highlighter.. or bronzer!!! I've actually ditched powder and liquid foundations for good now that I've discovered this!!! One bottle has lasted me a year!!! so a little goes a very long way! Also.. I don't reapply at all throughout the day! I absolutely love this product.. and trust me.. if you personally knew me.. you would know how picky I am about what goes on my face... so this truly is the best! — 3 years, 6 months ago

    It's a keeper!

I'm a fan of products that do at least double-duty, and this tinted moisturizer doesn't disappoint. I have aging skin with the many small imperfections that come with--let's see, what shall we call it?--"maturity" (!!) However, I prefer a natural look, and find that this product works well for me not only as a non-oily tinted moisturizer, but also as a sunscreen and a sheer to light foundation. For the areas that need a little extra help, I dab on a tiny amount of concealer and sometimes finish w/a light touch of powder. I love that this product has the extra oomph and coverage that many of its competitors don't. — 3 years, 6 months ago

    kinda disappointed...

I tried this on at sephora and i liked how the original one felt, but they ran out of it in my shade, so the sales rep recommended the oil free one, and i figured since i have sort of oily skin it would be better for me. I was soooo wrong. I tried it at home and it was kind thickish feeling like my skin couldn't breathe. the coverage was nice though (a bit much for my skin since i dont need so much coverage) and it looked okay. but to my horror at the end of the day my skin was so shiny! i just decided to stick with it since it was so expensive. Over the span of 3 months of using it i have increased in pimples and blackheads. Laura mercier is well known for her tinted moisturizer, but maybe this just wasn't for me... i just wish i didnt spend so much on it — 3 years, 10 months ago

    Evens out my skin tone

This is really great product that evens out my reddish skin tone by providing coverage. It covers blemishes lightly and doesn't feel heavy. I've used it for a few years now for during the day and really like it. It also has an Spf 15, which is very important to me. I wish that they offered it with different levels of Spf though, I'd like a higher one. I would not recommend this to anyone who has significant acne or acne scars, you'll need something with heavier coverage. — 3 years, 11 months ago
